Terrible customer service. I went grocery shopping with my client, Tuesday (08/6/2024) around 4pm. Everything was fine, until it was time to check out. (Cash register number 7). I don’t remember her name but I think it might be Claudia. She didn’t acknowledge me at all, even when I asked her how her day was. The whole time I was talking to my client about making tacos. She had such a bad attitude towards me. When we were done paying, she handed the receipt to my client. (Remind you my client has dementia). I’m the one who has to save the receipts for the family. She said bye to him and not to me. Which I didn’t take it personal, but the whole time I felt uncomfortable. Two days later (08/08/24) my coworker took our client to do some grocery shopping. When she came across this awful lady again. This woman remembered my client and was asking my coworker about me. “Saying I’m such a bad person, that I mistreat my client, all kinds of horrible stuff, and she was going to report me to my agent.” I have no idea what was her problem at all. I take this as being judgmental and racist. She shouldn’t be working there, if that’s how she treats people. I also think she shouldn’t be discussing conversation to people about other’s personal life. It’s none of her business, especially making false statements. I will never come here again! She made me so uncomfortable and I never had an issue like this before. Definitely wouldn’t take my client back here for this type of behavior. And he loves this store. What a shame to hire someone like this lady.

Have the deli team learn how to close the cold cut and cheese bags. I had to destroy each bag to open it because the sticker tore it apart. It's not that hard to seal the bags properly.
Everything else about the store is OK.

Always clean, easy to navigate, and they always have what I need. Market Basket has better prices so I don't go here often...
I was in a pinch, they had what I needed but I will stick with Market Basket for the regular...
Same same, customer service was great tonight. No changes

My company uses Hannaford Brothers for a lot of outings. We do all kinds of things outdoors in Maine and we buy the deli meats from Hanford. I just want to say that the deli at the Scarborough Maine location is amazing. In particular an employee by the name of Kris has been very helpful and always kind and her customer service is excellent. She knows the products behind the counter and introduces me to new products all the time. (Cooper cheeses). She gets the five stars.

I feel this Hannaford Supermarket was well organized and clean.
If you want to get a item quickly this would be the place to shop.

Always clean with well stocked shelves. Friendly clerks. Prices a little higher than MB but that doesn't keep me from shopping here.
