Whoever Adam is working today 10/23, he didn't seem pleased to be there. Granted I purchased a glove the other day which procured a hole in it which was very uncommon for this to happen in one or two uses according to him, but it did.
Not sure if the return might of been of some sort of an annoyance and outcasted me as a customer after this?
I had also asked about a certain item and was just told it's over there. Great, thanks the club I'm interested in is in the direction of the other 200 clubs?
As someone getting into golf and willing to spend the money I'm not sure Adam is the beginner friendly employee helping you with sales?
Spent over $600 today and It just felt weird and distasteful after these interactions in this store. I would of rather purchased from Amazon but it would of taken a week to get.
I wouldn't go here again unless you know what you're buying or coming for a specific item you need.

I visited with my family while on vacation, and experienced rudness by one of the associates. Do NOT give my family dirty looks and stare down my wife/kids as they wait for me to decide on my purchase. My son was being a toddler, and an employee made it extremely obvious she did not want us there. My daughters play golf with me so don't stare them down while they putt. It was your loss because I was going to pick up a lot of stuff and put it back immediately after catching you making a face at my son for the second time. Not family friendly!

Went in for grips on my irons and fairway woods. 4 employees eating food at the front counter. Didn't even acknowledge me. Nice job guys...lost another customer.

Great staff, very helpful during the purchasing process of golf clubs. Not pushy at all during shopping. They even helped me make adjustments to my clubs post-purchase at no cost after playing with them and realizing I needed a change. Good experience all around

Purchased the full set up for skis and my girlfriend did the same. We saw Darian and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Took the time to make sure all questions had proper answers and made sure everything was sized well. We talked to a couple other guys while we got everything together, and the whole team was wonderful! I will happily come back again. If you need ski, snowboard, or golf equipment in central and southern Maine give this place a try!

Staff is helpful for picking out ski boots for someone with limited experience, with decent selection and fair prices for goods and services.

I had not been here for several years but it still offers a pleasant venue to shop for golf gear or skiing. Quiet on a midweek afternoon but the service was quick and precise. They did not have the wedge I was seeking but the salesman quickly called to see if he could obtain one from another store. They did not have it but he offered to order or suggested coming back in the winter when they would be stocking up for next season. It's a good shop with competitive pricing.

Lots of great golf gear. Seems to have most of the popular things.As a new golfer I had a lot of questions. Was keen to pick up some clubs. The sales employees seemed busy looking at their phones so I left.

After 20 years with my old set. Adam helped me select a new set of iorns. . They were unavailable for order. Adam found a set in my specs and I took delivery almost immediately!!! Thank you!!

Such a shame this is the only place in the state of Maine to get “fitted”…..wow does this place have frat boy know it all vibes. It was a quick visit after I realized all these south Portland beer pong kids didn’t know a thing ??♂️?
