I've ordered from multiple oil suppliers in the past couple of years because I usually go with whoever has the lowest price at the time. I always estimate the amount of oil I need and let the supplier place a hold on my credit card for a certain amount. In the event that I overestimated how much I needed, the supplier will always refund me any amount I overpaid. I just used Fielding's for the first time and they did not credit me back the $30 that I overpaid. When I called to ask about this, they said there would be a $5 charge to refund the amount to my card. Otherwise I could keep the visit on file for future use. I don't like to be bound to a supplier but I don't appreciate being charged $5 to get my money back. Buyer beware.

I've been with Fielding's for several years now and have had NOTHING but great service. I was shocked to come here and find the negative reviews. Today, in particular, was a great experience that I rarely see in today's customer service environment. I called and spoke with Sarah, from the Windham office, who went above and beyond what I typically find with other companies. I just want to say THANK YOU for taking the time to meet my needs and being so pleasant!!

fieldings oil service is the absolute the biggest rip off ive ever had done to me. The tech who repaired my boiler was top notch and i praise him highly. I needed a new motor and contol for my peerless boiler. The tech replaced these items quickly and did a fantastic job!! My issue is what they charged me.I priced the same items on line to get an idea on what I would have for a bill and these were OEM items matching the replaced parts on my boiler. They charged me two charges for labor 259.00 and another 42.25 they charged me 375.00 for the burner motor that i can buy for 84.00 and 255.00 for the burner control which i can buy for 93.00 dollors and 55.00 for the plastic coupling i can buy for 7.00.I know that I will never ever use you again for any service as you run a robbery company ripping people off. My total bill was986.26 which i paid in full cause I made a big mistake not reading their revews and called them for service but will never use them again. The service manager was very defensive when i quoted my prices to him and was a complete jerk and when i told him i was calling the Attorney Generals Office and file a complaint he stated he didnt care as it happens all the time.

While I have never had issues with their delivery it’s an act of Congress to get someone to answer the phone! I used to have no issues with this. Just waited 40 min to speak to someone and when she finally answered the call disconnected. Maybe some training on how to answer the phone correctly without dropping the line.

This is Online Fuel Company. If you see their prices, Online is a better price than Fieldings. Using the app for Online Fuel Company is a simple way for Fieldings to get more business. Fine. What is not fine is their customer service. Awful. The representative says A, the App says B, the invoice on delivery says C.I will never use this atrocity of a company ever again. I have no issue with the delivery, even in lieu of the storm that just snowed on us. I would rather pay a few more cents from NiBroc or elsewhere to get the customer service, delivery, everything as it says it will be.Tired of gimmicks. I tried to save money, but what did that get me?

Fieldings Oil customers who, for some crazy reason, are happy with their service: Use Onlinefuel.net. It's Fieldings in disguise. If you order from Fieldings, you pay a higher price. If you order from Online Fuel, Fieldings delivers your oil and charges you a lower price. But they won't give you the price on the day they deliver it. They delivered my oil at 6:30 am, then changed the price at 8:30 am and wouldn't give me the lower price. Clearly, they're desperate for a few extra bucks. They'd rather screw their loyal customers. Pathetic. Plenty of other companies to get my oil and furnace cleaning from. Goodbye, Fieldings. Or Online Fuel, whatever you're calling yourself today.

I have to say…I have never had service from any other company I have dealt with…that has been so professional, kind, and concerned in my entire 65 years!! They have gone out of their way to help my fiancé’ and myself, into our new home!! From the front office girls…Sara and Cindi in Windham, to all the technicians, believe me I have met most all of them!! Arnold…out of the Rochester office, has gone above and beyond to get me the help I need to fix a faulty furnace in our new home. He has heard me cry…be extremely angry at the Manufactured home and so many other emotions and helped me control my emotions…not let them control me!! Thank you so much Fieldings for helping me through this extremely grueling process!! This is directed to each and everyone of you!!! God Bless you all!I highly recommend Fieldings to anyone looking for professional, courteous, kind and caring assistance, from the office on down!! Accolades to Mr. Bill Fieldings the owner. He must be a great boss to employ such a great crew!! Thank you and God Bless you all. You saved me from what could hav been a nightmare…to a very enjoyable experience… Arnold…you are the bomb!!!!❤️???

I’ll be finding someone else. I give specific instructions on how to set up their truck to back in my drive cleanly each time I place an order. They ignore it every time and come in the wrong way. In failing to follow my instructions they can’t make the turn and have repeatedly backed across my lawn and have broken up the edge of my asphalt driveway. I’m sick of their indifference. Their offer to repair the damage is worthless. I don’t want my property damaged in the first place. Chasing repairs for an incompetent driver is a waste of my time. Not long ago one of their drivers ran a red signal and I was nearly hit by one of their trucks. I’m DONE with Fieldings!

Very upsetting experience right from the start. The amount of mis-information I received was appalling. Authorized my CC for more than twice the amount of my first delivery, and when transferred to a "manager" was repeatedly referred to by my first name and she insisted on "educating" me on how CC's work. Not once did I receive an apology for all the mistakes and horrendous service I received. Delivery was to happen on a Friday, but came home and the ticket was in my door 3 days early. All this in one week! Informed them I would no longer do business with them. Done. Wow, what a joke. I recommend you save yourself the frustration and condescension and find another oil company. There's plenty out there. Geeze, people.

I finally gave up on Fielding and switched providers. Had spent almost a year trying to get a hookup to a new generator, went thru an estimate, etc. But the service person would never call me back, postponed until they stopped all winter, etc etc. My new provider actually was more expensive to do the install, but was reponsive and professional. I'll gladly pay a little more for that.

I recommend using ANY other company for fuel delivery. Fieldings service Charges are outrageous and the company without compassion.

*Be warned- Even though it is not clearly stated, every service call is $219 for the first hour, no matter how small! The service department really helped me out to make an appointment to turn on my heating unit. The guy who runs that department does a great job. The service technician came out, turned the unit on and left. I assumed it would be a reasonable bill because of the minimal amount of work, and a total of 15 minutes on site just making sure there were no leaks in the system. He turned the gas on at the tank, pressed the igniter on the unit, and used his nose to smell. Everything worked fine, so he left and I got a bill for $220. That seems excessive but I was told by the billing department that as soon as they step out of their vehicle, the bill starts at $219 for the first hour. I wanted a professional to make sure the system was safe, as turning it on is a simple process but I wanted an experienced technician to look over the heating unit. At $219 an hour I will just do it myself next time and risk it.Great service department, 0 billing transparency.
