“Full confession: I have not visited this bookstore in person. I DID, however, order online and the experience was superior. A podcast I listen to recommended a book that was newly printed, and suggested I purchase from this independent bookshop. I found the website, ordered the book, and received it expediently. It was gift wrapped beautifully, with a personalized note inside. I highly recommend ordering from the shop, particularly if you need a gift (if only for yourself).”
“This was a wonderful comic book store established in a basement setting, with wooden frame shelves filled with lots of comic books. The variety span across all different realms and universes, Marvel, DC obviously and some other less known ones. They also had sets of comic books, big posters, Pokemon cards. All the items had a decent price, the sets were little high price, since they were combination of a bunch.
We bought a kids story book for our daughter, it was about Loki. The gentleman at the register was super friendly. The POS machine wasn’t working, so we paid cash. Overall it a nice store to visit for comic fans.”
“Best place if you want to buy something special for your favorite goofball/group of goofballs.
They did an amazing Pride display this year where sales some of the sales went to the Equality Community Center in Portland.
The staff is always so friendly and the manager Connor helped me pick out the best puzzle that my husband I now have displayed in our kitchen!”
“This shop was the highlight of my trip to Portland! It was everything you want in an old book store—that smell of used books, old wood floors, kind shop owners, rare prints, and unbeatable prices. Whether you are visiting the area and need a souvenir, or just a local looking for some classic books—this is your place!”
“From searching for a hard to find book to having difficulties buying it from the other side of the planet, I cannot fault the team at Print. I was responded to with incredible kindness when I faced difficulties and prompt updates and communication with possible left of field requests. My partner and I are so thankful for the staff and service at Print and can only hope we'll be engaging their services again - what a beautiful store and such passionate people! Thank you!! You made a special occasion so much brighter!”
“Delightful bookstore with gift items and art supplies also. Truly awesome staff. Eager to help and very polite. Also they seem happy and work well together. The only way this could be improved is with a cat or dog greeting guests.”
“Awesome collection of books here, I could spend hours here.
It is a little chaotic, but in the absolute best way. Everything is organized by subject matter.”
“Was waiting for a rack to be installed on my jeep so I went over to Books-A-Million, picked up a book by Malcolm Gladwell, sat down in their cafe, had a coffee, wonderful experience.”
“My FAVORITE bookstore! ALWAYS friendly and helpful, willing to order whatever I'm looking for if it's not already on the shelf and books arrive within a few days. Love the variety and the layout--it's easy to find what I'm looking for!”
“We stopped quickly to look around and ended up getting a book. Place was decent for a small book store. There were used and new books for sake. Prices were good.”

“This place is fantastic! These folks are clearly book lovers and the care with which that curate their selection is impressive. And, should they not carry a title that you are looking for, they are always happy to look into ordering it for you!On a personal note, I have a niece with ASD who tends to touch pretty much everything. Unlike some other bookstores we've tried, never once have the folks at Bookworm been overly strict or unkind about this behavior.I highly recommend this store to all lovers of reading!”
“Delightful little bookstore with a variety of genres. There's a great children's section and also a staff suggestions section to help you find your next read.”

“Every time I've bought something here, the staff has been incredibly patient, humorous, and quick (which is an important characteristic to have when one is working a c-store in an airport where people are always go-go-go). This is my usual stop to grab gum before boarding, but there have been times I've swung by for other things (drinks, gifties, random H&B stuff)... Once I needed twelve (of the same) Maine-type things to bring with me to New York. The lady working that day took the time to go over with me everything in the store she thought was appropriate, and everything that was labeled as a "Maine" thing but was really made elsewhere (and her suggestion as to why I should avoid it; gotta love salt of the earth people who defend our humble state like it's the only one that matters). I thought that service very over-the-top nice. Recently, I found a giant bag of Takis for just .49 cents. I was baffled at the low price, so I had to get them (regardless that I would probably only eat three or four). The gentlemen ringing me up warned me against buying them because of how excruciatingly hot they were... he also suggested buying a six pack when I landed to help wash them down. We had a moment then, him and I, laughing about Takis and beer like we had some inside joke and were old friends... something that wouldn't happen at most other airport's c-stores, but in Portland, ME? Commonplace. Can't go wrong with a clean airport store that sells the basic necessities and does so in a personable and timely manner, so CNBC News gets my vote!”
“Very nice little bookstore right next to Shaw's in Falmouth that's much bigger on the inside than it looks like from the outside. Sort of a TARDIS bookstore.Nice selection of Maine books, special collections, etc, and very helpful staff.Right off Route 1, and since it shares a parking lot with a major grocery store, it's easy to find a slot close to the store.”
“Every person I've met in 2022 at Southern Maine community college has been absolutely amazing from the students to the professors and I'm sure you will find amazing people at the student bookstore on campus at Southern main community college”
“This place is a great discovery. great assortment of used books, blue rays DVDs VHS, games and consoles. the price is very fair and if you're lucky you can nab some great discounts on cool stuff. the staff is also very helpful and friendly. Great place to spend an afternoon or late evening since they close at 10. will keep coming back here whenever we visit Portland.”
