As my husband and I walked into Bob's, we were approached by a man named Kirby. Kirby offered to help us but, backed off when we said we were just browsing. Kirby did not hover but, he was still close by at watch like a mother watching her child experience the park for the first time. He only popped up randomly to show us cool features that some of the couches had and then he would fade back into the homey atmosphere of Bob's salesfloor. When my husband and I had been sitting for a while and started to become one with a couch set Kirby popped back up and sat with us. He chatted with us about our lives and helped us to choose the best sofa set for our needs, with children and furry creatures residing with us. Kirby then asked us if we needed anything else and his charisma and those words were all we needed to hear to jump into trying out beds. We tried a few but they just weren't doing it for us, until Kirby suggested the perfect bed for us based on our comments of the other beds we had tried. We both climbed into bed and it was like the bed was made just for us. Kirby showed us some great features that came with the bed. We loved them but we did decline the party mode features as we are old and have no use for disco lights and the like. He graciously understood and put in the order for our basic but with some features, bed. Kirby then got an exception to have our things shipped to us out in the middle of nowhere. Which gave us peace of mind that we didnt have to strap everything to the top of my little camry and drive 500 miles. He helped us go through some financing options because not everyone carries thousands around in their pockets. While he was doing some stuff with numbers, we had complimentary coffee, candy and ice cream. What kind of furniture store has ice cream? Only the best one! He had us speak with a wonderful man named Mustafa who was excellent in explaining the ins and outs of the great fun that is financing. We then left the building and everytime we look at our couch or sleep on our bed we will be reminded of Kirby, the man named after the vaccuum but doesnt suck, and our excellent Bob's experience.

I recently purchased a sectional here and it was my first time doing so. I got a younger man, Jacob, who was able to assist me with any questions that I had whether it be color, cushion, accessories, budget friendly options, and even a post order adjustment. I highly recommend BOB’s and ask for Jacob. Exceptional service from the employees!

I called Bob’s today and the most LOVELY young lady name Sandy from Scarborough picked up. I received the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! She was extremely polite, friendly, knowledgeable, persistent with having my issue resolved. She went above and beyond assisting me. She did not give up until she received a date for a service tech to come out to my home. She deseves a raise/promotion and should be training others on what STELLAR Customer Service looks like. This was the most enjoyable experience. Sandy, thank you once again for all your help and courteousness. It was indeed a pleasure speaking with you. ❤️

Bobs has always been a happy, easy to deal with place for me to shop for furniture thru the years. I have handicap but have to do things by myself, no help, but Bobs has always made it easy for me UNTIL NOW. Yesterday I picked out my bed and couch and all was ready but when my salesperson handed in my order the manager asked me why I hadnt been quicker to return the defective couch that Bobs sent me. When I explained that the lease got all messed up and I had been waiting for that to clear up as they lost a manager in leasing and my lease got all messed up. Also June is diff month for me. Lost my son in June and his birthday is in June and this year my sister died end of June, she told me I had to call home office to return couch. I called and they told me no I cannot return it even though it is wrong color, mot the aqua color I ordered but a pea green color. Also the foot risers dont work right and I have kymohefena severe from cancer. Do no - Bobs is not doing anything good now.

Lance, at Bobs Furniture in South portland was amazingly helpful when I purchased furniture. The experience could not have been better or more efficient. I highly recommend them.
