Every visit has been wonderful. We feel like part of the family already and it’s our first pet to be cared for by you guys!! Lilibet’s care has been extremely thorough. Every part has been our decision, yet the staff does a wonderful job making sure we have the information we need to make our decisions. We love it at The Ridge!! Lilibet does too! She can’t wait to get in the door and be greeted by the girls at the desk!

Dr. Kahoot(sp?) was caring, knowledgeable, and sensitive to my dogs signals. He got right down on the floor with her and interacted with her just as he had done 8 years ago when I first brought her in as my newly acquired pet. He and his wife, Dr. Matchet (sp?) are my favourite veterinarians there. ?

I have been a client at the Ridge for 9 years now. I made a new puppy appointment for my newly picked up 8 week old Corgi. I knew she had a UTI on pick up. However, at our new puppy appointment the next day, Dr. Syl discovered she had a HUGE bladder stone and recommended surgery the very next morning. On an 8 week old puppy. I was frantic. I'm so glad I put my trust in this woman. She is amazing. Two weeks post op and Ella is running around like a crazy girl, pain and strain free. I can not express the magnitude of gratitude I have for Dr. Syl. She is an outstanding veterinarian and surgeon and, more importantly, a remarkable human being.

You gals are always great. You treat my furbabies with love and empathy. Winnie never resists coming in to see you. When sshe goes to the groomer, I have to literally pick her up to get in the door. ?Thanks for everything ??

The Ridge has been our Vet for many years….we are really big fans of Dr. Matchett…we will follow her wherever she goes and now her hubs Dr Kahout is also there. This practice is the best of the best. The vet techs and all the staff are beyond awesome. They not only give your pets the best care possible but they also follow up on your losses and your broken heart. They truly care about the pet owner and their fur babies ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We are so THANKFUL for Dr. Doug. All 4 of my dogs love him! Dr. Doug not only repaired my pug’s knee but he also saved my Pit’s life by catching his Splenic Sarcoma in the very early stage & getting Diesel into an Oncologist right away. The picture is, Diesel after his 2nd Chemotherapy session!

Dr. Sylvie is amazing with my 2 dogs. We all love her. She always listens to any concerns and is very helpful. She never makes us feel like she is rushing through the appointment.

Everyone at The Ridge goes above and beyond to make sure our pets are ok. They also make sure the owners of the pets are ok and help us get through difficult decisions and illnesses with our pets, which a lot of other places don't. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else. They are all like family to us. They are all appreciated so much. ❤️

I really like the way I am treated I have 4 dogs, 1 cat and the staff is terrific with all my animals I can't say enough good about Dr. Pepper she is the one I always request ?

I took my two young rambunctious Golden Retrievers to the Ridge for their annual wellness exam. The team at the Ridge was very patient, kind and helpful. The doctor explained everything in easy to understand layman's terms and had some helpful suggestions of products to use for my dogs. I would highly recommend this office. It was nice to be able to go in person again.

Though I am not new to the area my pets are. One of our pets had a medical issue and those who live in my area quickly referred me to Ridge Animal Hospital. I submitted a request for our pet to be seen on an urgent basis and was advised they weren’t able to assist and was advised to go elsewhere. I understand the Vet Hospitals may be under staffed and/or over capacity. There is a reason why so many families and individuals recommend this Animal Hospital - sadly I may not ever know because for a service I needed, this Animal Hospital was too busy to help.

I've been bringing my cats and dogs to to the ridge since we moved to Maine 6 yrs ago. We have been for well visits, sick visits and goodbye visits.The doctors and staff at the ridge are always friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. I will continue to bring my pets there and recommend them always.
