We bought a used Forester had various deferred repairs like sway bar to clock spring, tires and brakes to engine maintenance
While I was looking for a mechanic I could trust to work on our Subaru I discovered ASP on Google and after reading other customers reviews and receiving a competitive quote from them on some of the work I decided to take the leap and trust the guys at ASP. I couldn't agree more with the positive customer reviews that drove me here! They were professional and a real no nonsense old world shop that was very refreshing! They provided excellent communication with a willingness to listen and discuss, very timely completion and flawless work. I will definitely be returning for any of the Subaru needs we may have.

Tyler and Ryan are the best in Maine. Period.
If you have a Turbo Subaru, there is no other shop in Maine/NH you should consider besides ASP. I've been going to ASP for over 4 years now, and no matter the work needed, they're always respectful, give honest advice, extremely skilled technicians, and offer very fair prices - unlike some other Subaru shops in the area.
I had my old built engine in my WRX etch a cylinder wall due to the previous owners spotty maintenance schedule, which required a full rebuild back in July. Tyler and Ryan got my rebuild done in just under 2 weeks, and there was always a great line of communication with my builds progress. The end product hit my 300whp goal to the dot, and has been rock solid reliable so far. They have a great connection with probably the best turbo Subaru tuner in New England, and it's great piece of mind knowing that my new engine is built to last.
ASP will continue to get my business on any major maintenance points that I'm not comfortable doing myself. Highly, highly recommend.

Best price for a head gasket job on my 08 Forester. Quoted 1500 cheaper than the competitor down the road.
Completed on the date that was expected. Perfect communication and customer service.

Always a great service when I go. Very speedy, will call you to discuss your options and never berate you for not knowing the jargon. Reasonable with the prices, I never feel like I'm getting ripped off here. Cant recommend them enough if you have a Subaru.Services: Steering & suspension repair
