Don’t ever rent from this place Phoenix property management, especially the apartment complex located at 45 School St., Berwick,, ME 03901. I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere moving in is a nightmare, as well as moving out. They rent to anybody constant traffic in and out, you have tenants there that are disrespectful. Have no respect for others and their privacies they gossip, everyone’s in everyone’s business. Report any suspicious activity its ignored. You have any complaints and maintenance concerns? It’s ignored. They only care about the money. They don’t care about the tenants. There’s a lot of lying a lot of dishonesty a lot of false accusations with the reviews. They don’t have good ratings. I would advise anyone to never rent from anyone of Phoenix properties. They don’t have a good reputation if you’re reading this post I thank you. I have gotten good ratings from Google in regards to helping those in the public learn and understand especially what I’ve gone through, in hopes they don’t have to go through. Property manager in my opinion is used as a puppet Taylor Turner, Doing everybody else’s jobs thrown all over the place within the company in and out, as well as Kelly who works in the office as some type of housing specialist. She uneducated ignorant, rude disrespectful, and dishonest, as they all are. Phoenix property management is a dirty company with dirty people working among them you have tenants that come and go constantly, it would be nice for somebody to break the cycle for somebody to actually defeat Phoenix property management, what only seems like they have the court system wrapped as well as their lawyers. A lot of what I’m saying is my opinion and some truth there’s a lot of people that will cover for them that will write Reviews giving them good reviews when they don’t deserve it. If you read into my review, it gives you a good amount of detail. It gives you a heads up, a warning before you decide to move into a place like that. Do a thorough check on the apartment complex itself, the surroundings, the neighbors, which is where I went wrong and didn’t do. I believe the property owners names are Bateman. Two brothers BATEMAN. Again my opinion they’re losers,
They think they’re winning, but they’re losing…:)

Rats, brown water, failing heat systems, rude employees, and unresponsive management. It’s called phoenix because our building resembles a pile of ashes.

Heat doesn’t work well enough to heat my apartment above 62° on the cold days of winter. Hot water is always out or brown. Didn’t do anything about rat infestation until I called the town. Overall poorly managed and rude to tenants.

After years of experience on the inside I can say with relative confidence, this place and these people do not care about you as an employee or as their tenant. Set your expectations as low as they can go and you’ll still be disappointed.

Heat and hot water go out on average once a month. They always fix things the cheapest way possible. Horrible management group. Many apartments have bug issues, and they charge for maintenance-related issues. Rent goes up, making it harder for us as low income individuals.

Not happy with this apartment things break down constantly. Rude and loud tenants and the price goes too high for these apartments. It was my first one and its easy to say I jumped too soon into this building

Don't ever live at 1 PARKVIEW COURT. All they care about is the money. Make a complaint and they do nothing about it.Never any parking for people who live there and have parking permits. Poeple park on lawns and on the street ignoring the no parking signs. Can't have dogs but it's alright to have cats roaming everywhere and treating the whole place like a cat box.

I would not stay here the place is overpriced for the way the inside looks. Raises rent on you and gives you no notice to fix any compliants filed against you. Bugs and roaches seen on several occasions and broken dishwasher issues never fixed.

As a former landlord, I was less than impressed with the way this company managed a property in NH in a small town.
In winter, I saw disabled and elderly residents struggle over ice, ramp rails covered with ice, and one night people hustling out in a storm, in the dark, to move cars for the plow truck.
In the spring, especially last year, little to no landscape maintenance, and the ramp rails covered in bird droppings.
In the fall, leaves all over for weeks and weeks.
Have talked with several residents who have since moved out, and they all had serious complaints with how the property was managed.
Worth noting also is that this property has not only a high turnover, but often has vacancies advertised for weeks, very unusual for a subsidized unit property. I believe it is the only one in the area that has little to no waiting list most of the time.
All red flags, that combined with personal experience in and out of the building, leave me no option but to give this company a single star.
