I am hoping delivery is on time and set up properly and everything runs smoothly. The reviews seem mostly good with the exceptions being about quality, over cost, delivery issues, and if choose to return withing 100 nights, are not told the base is not refundable...hoping for the price ..things go smoothly...with delivery and quality of product ...will revisit after receiving item..”
“In 2001, this building was a Walmart. On September 10 of that year Mohamed Atta and Abdulaziz al-Omari bought some box cutters here. The next day, they flew a Boeing 767 into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. This place has some serious history.”
“We purchased three rooms of furniture from this store in 2016. We wanted a new living room look and went to all the furniture stores in the South Portland area. Once again we chose the Furniture Superstore. Steve, our salesperson, is extremely patient and helpful. We returned several times before making our final decision and worked with him each time. On our last visit, we were helped by Doug as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience- it felt as though we were buying from friends. Our furniture was delivered today and we love it. Forgot to get the names or the two men who delivered the sofa and two recliners. Both were friendly and professional. If you’re looking for furniture, this is the best store around. Staff who work with you, yet are not annoying. Staff who are knowledgeable, welcoming,and professional. I found some furniture store staff in the area either all over me or ignoring me and very abrupt when I had questions. Furniture shopping can be stressful, but definitely not at the Furniture Superstore.”

“As my husband and I walked into Bob's, we were approached by a man named Kirby. Kirby offered to help us but, backed off when we said we were just browsing. Kirby did not hover but, he was still close by at watch like a mother watching her child experience the park for the first time. He only popped up randomly to show us cool features that some of the couches had and then he would fade back into the homey atmosphere of Bob's salesfloor. When my husband and I had been sitting for a while and started to become one with a couch set Kirby popped back up and sat with us. He chatted with us about our lives and helped us to choose the best sofa set for our needs, with children and furry creatures residing with us. Kirby then asked us if we needed anything else and his charisma and those words were all we needed to hear to jump into trying out beds. We tried a few but they just weren't doing it for us, until Kirby suggested the perfect bed for us based on our comments of the other beds we had tried. We both climbed into bed and it was like the bed was made just for us. Kirby showed us some great features that came with the bed. We loved them but we did decline the party mode features as we are old and have no use for disco lights and the like. He graciously understood and put in the order for our basic but with some features, bed. Kirby then got an exception to have our things shipped to us out in the middle of nowhere. Which gave us peace of mind that we didnt have to strap everything to the top of my little camry and drive 500 miles. He helped us go through some financing options because not everyone carries thousands around in their pockets. While he was doing some stuff with numbers, we had complimentary coffee, candy and ice cream. What kind of furniture store has ice cream? Only the best one! He had us speak with a wonderful man named Mustafa who was excellent in explaining the ins and outs of the great fun that is financing. We then left the building and everytime we look at our couch or sleep on our bed we will be reminded of Kirby, the man named after the vaccuum but doesnt suck, and our excellent Bob's experience.”
