Haven't used Hancock in about 10 years, never had a credit problem with any of my suppliers ever in my life. With the new store my account need to be renewed, short of that hassle things went as smooth as can be expected. The new Saco facility is set up very nice. It's big, bright, and laid out well. Can't say much about price these days, everything's flipping expensive. 5/4x8 in by 8 ft, 60 bucks ??

Went there a couple weeks ago for the first time and have returned a half dozen times since. Staff in the store and in the yard are very knowledgeable and helpful, shelves are completely stocked plus the yard is well organized and easy to navigate. Every visit has been a consistently good experience with solid advice and recommendations regarding material choices, fasteners, repairs etc. Their prices are comparable to HD, Lowes and Hammond all of which I frequent often. The upside to Hancock vs. the Biddo HD is Hancock is always well stocked and the staff are educated on their products and genuinely seem to enjoy their work.

Everyone I spoke with here was immensely helpful. I got exactly what I needed within minutes. When I had to load a huge piece of vinyl siding into my truck, one associate in particular was an angel. He not only gave me a free 20' piece of lumber for rigidity, but also wrapped it up and helped me load it. Going the extra mile is why I'll go here over the big box stores in the future.

I recently bought windows from Hancock (Mathews Brothers - Sanford Hills) and I couldn’t be happier. Torbin was so helpful and easy to work with. There are several other local options when buying MB windows and Torbin was the reason I chose to go with Hancock. He made me feel welcomed and valued the moment I walked through the door. This project wasn’t a big order for Hancock but it was a huge order for me and Torbin authentically shared that same attitude with me throughout the entire process. Thank’s man… I appreciate you.

Went in one month ago with my contractor for kitchen drawings and estimate that should’ve taken a week. A month later, I’m still getting lip service from Mandy and Jeremy but no signs of the drawings. Although nice, Mandy promised me my drawings before last night and today, still no drawings.They are clearly overwhelmed and don’t care whatsoever about contractors or their clients.

It makes me feel like this is actually a hometown lumber yard. They seem to mill there own pine. They are very pleasant people. They seem to go out of their way to do the best, to help with the questions about the project I have going on. They have a bit of hardware, but if you are looking for a lot of something. You will be better off, going to a box store. But, if you want answers to questions about the building of things. They have the knowledge. I'll be going back.
