We stayed at Ioneta cabin for the weekend. The communication prior to arrival was great and our request to check in early was not an issue. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Trina was our contact and she was wonderful and responded promptly. Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Recently had the pleasure of hosting our 9/11 veterans charity ride at Lawrences. It was just what we were looking for. We rented the whole place. The recent remodel is top notch, all new modern appliances, clean and comfortable rooms and the location is amazing. Would be great for family reunions or small company outings. We found the rates very reasonable also.

We had a last minutes change of plans which put us in the Rockwood area for 2 nights. Amazingly, Lawrence’s Lakeside Cabins had those nights available in one cabin. Directions to the compound were spot-on and all the details sent were very helpful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area, sitting on the dock and watching the ducks and loons, and walking to the Kineo Shuttle. The kitchen is very well equipped! My only complaint is that we only had 2 nights here. Hope to plan a longer stay in the future!

This is an exceptionally beautiful place where a high-end renovation was recently completed. Rebecca is adorable and has an amazing porch for sitting peacefully and taking in the incredible vista of Moosehead Lake. Everything you could need is here and the attentiveness of the camp caretakers is exceptional.

My family was travelling and exploring Maine this past July and found this place luckily!! We found this cabin to be perfectly sized for our family of 5, with kids ages 7-12. It is a smaller cabin but the layout was PERFECT and a larger cabin would've seemed too much. The location was amazing and peaceful, cabin was cute and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our night here. There was quiet, easy access to the lake where my kids swam for hours. There was also access to kayaks and appropriate paddling gear, lake floaties, and some yard games. There were firepits and Adirondack chairs right by the lake, in addition to a private firepit right next to our cabin. We fell in love with Maine and this cabin and Moosehead Lake are a couple of the reasons why! It was lovely!Rooms: Super clean and the loft in our cabin, Twilight, was perfect for the kids!Walkability: This cabin was out of the way. Walking will take you right to Moosehead Lake (1 minute walk), and further walking will take you down a lovely country lane.

We stayed at the Rebecca cabin. Perfect for two people! Great view of the lake from the front porch. It has a "rustic" feel, but with a number of modern amenities (Wi-Fi, Roku, fully-outfitted kitchen, etc.) plus an outdoor fire pit, and plenty of Adirondack chairs around the property, and down at the lake, for anyone to use. There's a private dock for tying up any "toys" you might bring along.Nice owners, reasonably priced, and a great location! We are already talking about heading back to MH Lake, soon!Walkability: I'm in a wheelchair with some moderate ability to walk. Rebecca cabin is on a fairly "steep" hillside which made it a little precarious to get down to the dock, for me. For anyone without disabilities, it's still steep, but walkable. After our visit the caretaker said he would build a railing on the steps leading down to the lake, so next time it will be easier!

My husband and I stayed in the Ioneta cabin. We talked on the way home and couldn’t come up with 1 thing to complain about. The only thing that made us sad, was leaving. Everything from cleanliness, the view, things to do , friendly staff to the fully, I mean fully equipped kitchen, the stay was a wonderful experience. We definitely will be recommending this place to our friends and family. Our next stay is already in discussion.

This company tried to scam us of an extra $200 and is actively scrubbing real negative reviews. Location was great, plenty of room for everyone. No ac tho and we were forced to keep windows open all day and night with only box fans in the hottest month of the year. As soon as we got there I saw the housekeepers(Trina) dog leaving our cabin and we have people in our party with allergies. Then when we walked in the dining room table was sticky with crumbs on it (we paid a $300 cleaning fee beforehand so I’m not sure where that went) and there were flies everywhere, not to mention there was no running water for hours after our arrival after a 6 hour car drive and when it was fixed we could only run one shower at a time and the water ranged from boiling hot to freezing cold, no in between. Everything about the place was cheaply done, the floors were warping and uneven with massive air bubbles about 2x2 feet large, the tables and countertops were uneven with big cracks, and it looked like they just poured a bunch of epoxy on it to try and make it look nice but they didn’t even spread it out. They call it “rustic” but a normal person calls it “cheap.” All the bedroom and bathroom doors have massive gaps that people can see into as they walk by the rooms. The half bathroom downstairs isn’t even usable with how close the toilet is to the wall and all of the toilets flush terribly and take forever to fill up. Anything that had to do with water took 10x longer than normal to do because the pressure was so bad the whole time we were there. The housekeeper stays in the same cabin but separated by a door so having all hours of the day and night when we tried to sleep the housekeeper and her boyfriend would smoke pot and cigarettes under our windows and we couldn’t even close the windows. Not sure if it was them smoking or if it was the 10 marijuana plants right outside our “private” back door but either way it smelled awful. The service was absolutely mediocre at best. All of this could’ve been looked over because I still had fun with my family, the trouble came after we left and gave them a five star review and they gave us a five star review on airbnb and said that we were great! Then turned around and tried to extort another $200 cleaning fee with a fake staged mess created by Trina the housekeeper($500 total!!)We cleaned up the day before and spent the morning of check out cleaning as well and checked out early, we followed all cleaning instructions and check out instructions. We did the dishes, swept the floors, threw the towels on the floor but didn’t strip the beds because the instructions said so. Everything was in order and in place. But after leaving we were sent staged pictures of the place in disorder with furniture flipped over with and extra $200 cleaning fee. We did not take pictures of the place before we left because we didn’t think we’d have trouble with a dishonest housekeeper and company that would try to screw us out of another $200 on top of the $300 cleaning fee we already paid. Be aware, not an honest company.Edit: this review is in retaliation of the way you chose to go about leaving us a 5 star review on airbnb after we left you 5 stars as well and then decided to stage fake photos of a mess and try to extort us of more money. And also those are obviously NOT tomato plants if anyone zooms in on the photos they can tell you’re lying right there, and you just admitted they were smoking?the lies just don’t stop with you do they? My advice for anyone that chooses not to heed my advice and to come here anyway is don’t make the same mistake we did, don’t assume everyone is honest and hardworking. Take photos and videos of the place when you get there and when you leave so they can’t do this to you too. Shame to let such a beautiful property be run by such dishonest people.

Unfortunately the positive reviews for this place are written by the owners and the negative ones are being constantly deleted. Overpriced for the quality, I was in the small cabin closest to the lake. The cleaner lady was constantly in my area I assumed I was renting, smoking weed and cigarettes near by, the cabin was poorly built and not clean at all, even though I paid a cleaning feeSafety: There was water on the floor when I checked in and porch was rotting

The Lodge was comfortable enough for all 13 of us. With ages ranging from 9-50, there were things to do for everyone. We enjoyed the gaming table, fire pits, kayaks and just sitting on the porch enjoying the views. The house is well equipped and the lake is beautiful.
