“Wonderful variety of olive oil soaps. I have to get some there for my mother to give as Christmas gifts every year. You can watch as they are making them right behind the counter. So many lovely varieties, they add and change them up occasionally. I like their lemon based soap scents and the green tea seems especially nice for a new scent. They also have many locally made things such as linens, nail brushes, soap holders and more that you can pick up to compliment your soap purchase.”

“Best to go in July for harvest but any day is a great day on the farm. Picnic tables avail so bring lunch and enjoy the beautiful gardens. The barn is amazing. The products are luxurious and worth the splurge. They even sell plants so you can start your own lavender garden.Farm and little store is in Appleton and the main retail store is in Camden.”

“This was my favorite shop in Rockland. They had a lot of different types of gifts and souvenirs and I was comfortable browsing and looking at everything without feeling like I was being scrutinized by hovering staff. I really like the soy wax melts. The Wild Maine Lupine smells wonderful!”

“This is an absolutely beautiful gift shop. There are so many wonderful things to choose from. One of the staff members helped me choose great gifts, for a Yankee swap event at work. I told the lovely staff member that I need to ship the gift items to Virginia. Her and another kind associate boxed the items I purchased and made sure they packed them, to avoid any possible damage. The ladies were such a joy to interact with. I told them I relocated back to Maine from Virginia. I plan to frequent Seagull Cottage for great gift ideas. I had such a nice experience.
