Several of my favorite sweaters and linen summer dresses are from the owner’s own design and productive process. They’re excellent quality and beautiful colors. I get many compliments every time I wear them. The staff here is friendly and helpful. A local treasure.

My fav go-to women's boutique in the heart of downtown Rockland. Specializes in natural fiber contemporary clothing in cashmere, linen and organic cotton. Have always found something unique not carried elsewhere. This is the mothership for their made in Maine Studio 412 clothing, designed and produced in the rear of the store. Beautifully attended with high attention to detail, welcoming staff…worth a visit.

Stopped in this beautiful shop about 6 weeks ago while visiting Rockland, Maine, and returned again this lovely Saturday morning. The same helpful salesperson was working. We chatted about some of the items of merchandise and also about the natural beauty of Maine. She saw me looking at a book on natural decorating and recommended a book on Maine home decorating. The book is absolutely beautiful. I know when ever I look through it I will think about this beautiful store, in this very cool town, and the kind, sensitive, intuitive salesperson, who seemed to just know that was a perfect purchase for me.I’m sold on Rockland, Maine and this shop. I will return!

This is a lovely, pleasant store in the heart of Rockland. I was welcomed warmly when I entered and given excellent help and service. I found a beautiful, very reasonably-priced bracelet I now wear most days. I also bought a silk mask, unlike any I've seen anywhere.

Beautiful dresses and absolutely AMAZING service. Tracked down the company after loving one I had found in a small boutique shop in New England.. It had become the perfect effortless staple. I sent an email asking if they still made it and received a response immediately.. I also received the new dress beautifully packaged by UPS the following morning! When I had chosen the wrong size and sent it back, Max sent me a new one and even let me know that there were more colors in the new size (so I switched to one I liked even better). Before I had even made it to the post office the next afternoon to return the first dress, the exchange had already arrived. I've practically lived in it ever since. Beautifully inky navy, a lovely cut, soft linen AND incredibly warm and efficient service? Who could ask for more? Highly recommend!

Stylish and approachable... LOVE the curated mix and their house brand of very well designed linen dresses. You know how some can be too boxy... these actually have style and shape and show off your feminine side while still easy to wear. Well selected pieces of the brands you love, beautiful jewelry, and cool-girl Swedish hasbeens! Especially loved Max for being a lovely hostess while we shopped. Thank you Max!

Every year I ask for the same Christmas gift from my husband, a nice fat gift certificate from 412,I own a fabulous resale boutique shop for women, NEVER need to venture far to expand my wardrobe with high end pieces by my favorite designers. I'm hard pressed to buy anything that compares with my own inventory, EXCEPT for one spot that is truly, hands down my favorite place for a bit of shopping heaven, 412

Great staff - found the item I described over the phone, set it aside, and did a lovely job wrapping it. Check their return policy before you commit to a garment that may not fit, however. When it proved to be too large, she was only offered a store credit, even with her receipt.

Stopped into fourTWELVE this weekend to do some holiday shopping. Found Prefect gifts for my studio assistant, a couple of my kids teachers and my Mom (hardest person to buy for). Everyone was helpful and they made it fun. Best part, they wrapped it all up. Perfect.
