I stopped by at quarter of five and she told me they were closing even though the sign says they're open till 5. I said you don't close until 5 and she said " you can't see the whole store in 15 minutes " I was turned away so I guess you have to know how long it takes to see the whole store or else you're not allowed in after a certain time before they close.What a joke. They won't see my money ever again.

I don't know if it is just the time of year (tourist season) or what, but prices were a pretty high for what is in there. That being said, we will probably stop by again, at a different time of year, and see if the prices are more reasonable.

I was referred by someone to come here and talk to Bob (the owner) about something in particular I've been looking for. He didn't have the item, but it's not easy to find and my expectations on that were very low. A friendly customer who Bob was helping before me overheard and they both offered me great advice for continuing the hunt for my treasure. I had a look around the shop, and found a beautiful (fragile) trinket I decided to purchase. Bob took extra special care in wrapping my item to make sure it would get home in one piece. It was clear he cared, even though my purchase only cost $5. (A steal).When I went out to my car, Bob had followed to take down the "open" flag and saw that I had my dog with me. He called out "next time you come please bring your dog in with you!" And that just made my day.Customer service is everything, and this place is as good as is gets. I am putting this on my "must visit" list for my future returns to coastal Maine.

Definitely stop by if you're visiting the area! There's a lot to look through and it's all very well organized. The woman working was very helpful and friendly.

They had a good amount of fenton glass pieces and sometimes you can find some strange and cool things one time I saw an empty turtle shell and a monkey skull

What an amazing place!!! The people are so nice and friendly!!! There are tons of antiques and treasures!!! They also have a really interesting “Marine Salvage” dealer with lots of ship salvage, brass lights, and old vintage brass and bronze boat hardware! I visit this place every week as their inventory changes daily. Such a fun place!!! Visit them soon, you won’t be sorry!!
