I have used Main Street fuel for many years and they are absolutely wonderful. Whenever I have an emergency or my furnace has stopped they are always available, and get me up and running again. There technician Bobby is the best. Calls you back quickly, gets here quickly, usually within 20 minutes and really knows his stuff. I managed to make it all winter without any problems and then it stopped working on Easter, but he came right down and had it fixed within 20 minutes. Thanks Bobby for being so awesome! I recommend Main Street fuel to everyone. Always there when you need them, fast, efficient and professional.

Propane pricing is terrible. Quoted $5.299. They will give you a song and dance about "its based on what you use, and we don't charge a tank lease fee". Price quote from Downeast Energy was $3.399 for 120 gallons per year, no lease fee. Office was unwilling to work out a better price.Main St. Fuel's pricing circa 2020 was quite competitive. No more.

Their drivers are completely unsafe. They speed down my road that has numerous kids playing. Almost rear ended my daughters school bus. He had to ver toward the ditch to avoid hitting the bus. Considering the reviews, I’m not wasting my time with calling and complaining. I’m going to get the license plate number and notify the state police and sherifs office of reckless driving.

The last time I had fuel delivered I had an issue! Never before! Went and paid for my fuel and complained. Explained what had happened. After going through the different channels they remedied the problem completely! 100% satisfied! I could not have asked for more!

Service tech was called to my house by a tenant and they performed work supposedly that did not fix the problem with out my consent, I have a guy who services my furnace and has for years. They claimed to of replaced things that I had just had replaced by my technician. Then sent me a bill. For services that did nothing to help and I had to still have my technician come out to fix. They then threatened legal action if I did not pay my bill. So I am going to be pursuing legal action. Horrible customer service down right rude and I’d much rather pay a bit more and use someone else. Complete trash.

I have always had good pricing from this company for many years. Now that dead river bought them out they just keep jacking up the rates on my propane. Guess I need to shop around.

Repair Monitor company that was supposed to look at my furnace was extremely rude and unprofessional. Had them come again to look at my furnace for the same problem they went and fixed the 1st time. Yelled at my wife wouldn’t letting her speak and after talking to the company about the problem they told her to just go somewhere else. Spend ur money elsewhere.

Had to have an emergency oil fill up during off hours and the gentleman who came to our house was there so quickly, super friendly and helpful, and put our minds at ease. I can't recommend them enough!

they are the best they are kind and the costs for heating oil are low and the discount for the person who was confused, is you pay less if you pay on delivery... it's a few cents but the price is comparable so ...also there's a discount if you are over 65... I have been a customer for nearly 20 years with Dresden cash then with Main st and Jim IS a sweetheart...

My husband and I used 2 other fuel companies before finding Main Street Fuel. They have always been very efficient, polite, and very prompt in service of whatever is needed. The people in the hardware store are just as wonderful to deal with. They go out of their way to help you get exactly what you need and at the best price possible. Have used for a few years now and have no plans to leave.
