We drove into Rangeley for the Eclipse, and predictably the whole town was swamped. We decided to see if we could park at the grocery store, and shockingly, we could! They had people out in the parking lot directly traffic, and even though the lot was clearly way over capacity, it ended up being very easy to park. We bought stuff for lunch here, and it was astounding how well-prepared they were to handle the insane amount of traffic; the store was still neat and clean, the shelves were well-stocked and tidy, and even the bathrooms were in pretty good shape. I've seen local grocery stores in much worse condition on a casual weekend afternoon; the staff at this IGA must be incredible.Ultimately, this IGA ended up being the perfect place for us to view the eclipse, in addition to just being a nice place to buy some food and drinks. Thanks, IGA!

Forget a decent vegetable. They are usually very tired when they are put on the shelves. Everything is way over priced- $7 bag of shredded cheese vs 4$ at Hannaford. It is hard for locals (like myself) to see the point in patronizing this store unless it's for an urgent need. Otherwise, we drive one hour away to Hannaford. Even in the check out line at Hannaford I have met many Rangeley residents who have started the pilgramage for the same reason. Unfortunate. Rangeley is remote but it's not Iqaluit, Canada. We should be able to get more than a wilted cucumber or a very old turnip. This is all since new ownership.

We’d be lost without the OG! Love everything and everybody . OG has just about everything you need and some things you may not even know you need!

This might be the greatest supermarket in the world. It captures the spirit and needs of the community and answers with harmony.

Always love stopping here when I am in Rangeley. I am not sure his name, but a very nice cashier also.

This is a nice store, it’s just ridiculously over priced. Since the new owner took over, the prices had soared compared to grocery stores outside the Rangeley lakes area. The parking lot was clean and so was the store, the staff were all very nice and polite, however if you have the time to go to Farmington, its much cheaper to get your groceries somewhere else. Gas prices as of 10/01/2023 were over $3.70 per gallon, and a propane exchange was $26. This is absurd. The owner is trying to capitalize off being the only true grocery store in town and take advantage of the tourists than being a reputable business owner.

A quirky little place. Was the only grocery store i saw while there so probably the best bet if you need something while camping in the area.

Overly priced food, very small organic section, and a not so friendly atmosphere. It is sad that this is the only grocery store in town and they have such little appreciation for the people who live and shop here year round.

Full service grocery store with a good produce section that often has locally produced items. Extensive craft beer and wine selection as well as distilled spirits. Gas station on site is an added bonus.
