“My son & I have always purchased meat from Emery's when they had a location in Augusta. We still purchase from them. But, EVERYTHING we have ever gotten has been awesome & reasonably priced. They are very friendly & have excellent friendly customer service! They also carry a lot of local farmer produce depending on what's in season, meat, eggs, cheeses, fresh farm milk along with some delicious home made pies , breads and desserts. I never know each week when I go to pick up my farm fresh milk what different goodies they will have. They carry a plethora of bottled sauces and home made spices. For a small local business, there's a ton of products. Try it! You will be pleasantly surprised and probably hooked by visiting weekly like I do. ?
They also carry fresh dog food and chew bones for your pet. I don't think anything from a chicken or beef is wasted. I purchase the toes, hearts, necks and whatever from the chicken and beef bones that I can make my home made broths from.”

“This is my,favorite store ever. They have an app where you can save money with coupons and rewards by just doing your normal shopping. I find that the store brands are always as good or not better than name brand items. And lots cheaper. So shopping here is a win- win. The produce, deli, salad/,soup bars, & meat are ALWAYS fresh. There's also a fresh bakery and fresh coffee for you to enjoy while you shop. I can always easily find what I need and if not a staff member is always available to help. Awesome store! Also,. They have the reward program when you shop several of Hannaford's brands and more. It's so easy. Once you sign up you just put your phone# in at checkout & it gives you your coupons that you've chosen online and add up points. Every 4 months you receive money back for shopping Hannaford brand products. The money is applied and deducted from your total. So you save twice. As I said, it's a win win shopping experience.”
“Clean, organized, friendly workers - enjoyable buying experience. Had several lanes manned, so no waiting, and I didn't have to self check out. Added bonus, a bagger was there to assist! As Maine doesn't use disposable bags, I (as an out of stater) needed to purchase a reusable bag. The cashier identified a lesser expensive alternative to the one I randomly chose - that was greatly appreciated!”
“Used them more than once for our cows. Always friendly and packaging is great. We were accidentally late at last drop off and he was more accommodating than he should have been ? sorry again. But they are our number one choice when we have beef cows that need processing!”

“Fantastic variety of products that you can't get in other stores around here. The prices are surprisingly affordable, considering current inflation nonsense. I think it honestly proves other stores could give us better prices if they wanted to. Large bottles of spices at great prices that will last you a long time. Probably a better idea to get your spices here instead of at the big grocery stores. There is a refrigerated and frozen section that I will have to explore more in the future. I loved the unique drinks and snacks that I found here. The owner is super nice and I look forward to going back again in the future.”
“they have so many amazing store brands. super well built. the clover valley brand is amazing food! they have better prices than Walmart at least 50% of the time, especially if you use Dollar General app coupons or iBotta rebates!!!!! Love the huge selection of frozen and Shelf-stable foods. they had my favorite drinks when no other grocery store sold them. Snapple strawberry kiwi! they have the best prices on so many of my favorite foods, better than Amazon, the grocery stores, or Walmart!!! they have awesome store-brand pillows that I bought and which are knit-pillow top and thick and fluffy and absolutely amazing. only $10 each! they had my favorite Dial body wash when no else did. they have my favourite handsoaps and my favorite makeup tools. dollar general is absolutely amazing. the product line up is stellar and the prices are honestly unbeatable. I LOVE THE FROZEN SAUSAGE ROLL. u gotta buy it!!! best thing I've ever eaten. just slice off a thick slice and it makes an amazing breakfast Sandwich!!!”

“I work here, know a lot about this place quite well. The only things I don't like about it: parking lot is NOT flat; this is also public parking, so events held downtown use this space for parking (for example, the Great Race 2024)”
“Love this place. One of the few remaining places that knows how to make an authentic Maine Italian sandwich! Great pizzas and great homemade treats. When I'm in the area I always stop in and stock up, even if I'm not hungry at the moment.”
“Food is sooooo good and at a great price. Try TAC and fried mushrooms. Also grab a s’mores cookie from the area with the coffee machines. They also have bacon ends and pieces…even Walmart doesn’t sell those anymore! Honestly I was surprised how much stuff they can fit into the market…truly they have everything you could ever need. Staff is always sweet, attentive and prompt with service. And what a beautiful little drive to get there. Make time to visit, you will not be disappointed.”

“Great store. Products I need are readily available. Superior customer service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Didn't have one of the sale items today. ☹️”
“I was desperate for my son to get eye drops for conjunctivitis… initially they said it would be hours. The pharmacist sensed my stress and said he would make sure he personally got it done within 20 minutes, and he did! So grateful!”
“Not from the area, but stopped in to get a quick dinner of some of the prepared hot foods in the deli. I was impressed. Things were tasty and I love locally owned old school markets like these.”
