“I am in from out of town and immediately saw into the store and wanted to go in. The store has all different taste from upscale to fun and trendy pieces. Makenzie immediately made me and my girlfriend feel pampered and like she was our new best friend, helping us try on all fun pieces. She helped accessories and made shopping exactly as it should feel! Trying on clothes with friends and uplifting eachother as we should! Massie came in and added to the amazing experience as well as moo. The clothes here are 5 stars alone but the girls and the experience really made it such a memorable moment with my friend and just so much fun.”

“If I could give this review more stars, I would! First of all, Kelly is outstanding. She was so helpful as soon as we walked through the doors and made sure that my clogs were made to fit my feet absolutely perfectly. She was chatty and kind, and my clogs arrived exactly when she said they would with an adorable hand written note from her and some Kurier goodies. On top of that, Jasmine created the perfect custom fit clogs for me and I’m so happy with them. Nothing but positive feedback for this shop and its workers! ⭐️ ”

“This is one of my daughters favorite places in the Old Port. We had a 5+ star experience in the spring when shopping, she found the perfect eighth grade dance dress. The woman working (possibly the owner?) Was fabulous!!!At 5:55 she tried to duck in for a quick peruse since they were closing at 6:00. The woman working wouldn't allow her in. Quite surprised that they wouldn't want the business. Could always lock the door at 6:00 and allow existing shoppers to finish up. Small gripe I know but with small businesses, I feel like this courtesy is a must.”

“I ordered a planter for the nursery we’re putting together for our (yet to be born - any day though!) daughter. The mail carrier ended up breaking the item. I emailed Bliss and they immediately shipped another one and also graciously included a gift for the baby’s nursery as well! It was exceptionally well packaged and arrived in NYC in 2 days. I walked in having no real clue what my size was, but the staff member who helped me immediately started pulling things for me to try on and I found a fantastic pair of jeans that fit my body fantastically in under 20 minutes.”

Their staff is highly attentive to fit and extraordinarily helpful. “I was shopping for my teen niece who is painfully shy. She was feeling a little out of the element and Madison, a store Manager saw us looking endlessly for clothes and thus approached us to see if we needed help. Madison made our day! She was kind, understanding, patient, friendly and anticipated the needs of my niece. She offered selections to try on and we felt valued! I would HGHLY recommend anyone to shop with Madison.
The store is clean, well stocked in various sizes. Really a fantastic store to find versatile clothing that goes from workouts to casual and business casual.”
“This place has the coolest selection of shirts! All of the shirts are nature themed and the illustrations are really well designed. These shirts really stand out and I think they would make for a great souvenir while visiting Maine. The shirts are made in the US and I believe the company is employee-owned, which is a huge bonus. The shirts are exceptionally well made for the money. There are tons of options in terms of design and sizing. They have t-shirts and long sleeve, I also saw kids sizes and onesies for kids. The salesperson was very sweet and helpful. The store is laid out very well and it's easy to grab the shirt you need in whatever size you're looking for. I had followed them on Instagram for a long time and kept meaning to buy a shirt, but then we happened to be in Portland where the store is located so it was really cool to stop in and shop in person. This is a great place to find a gift for someone or get a souvenir for yourself.”

“This is a British clothing company with many locations in the US. At this point a significant percentage of the clothes I wear were purchased here. So, you can say I have been satisfied enough to return as a customer, repeatedly.
I find the clothes to be of durable quality. Style is classic enough to be worn for more than one season and not feel out-of-style by the next year.
Sizing is more true-to-size than most American brands. Even accounting for this, I feel t-shirts and Henley style shirts (for men) are tailored for a closer-to-the body fit.
The Portland, ME store has hired a great staff. Friendly, helpful, professional.”

“Really kind & understanding workers, with amazing merchandising displays and setups!! The sale section is way in the back - located in the historical bank's vault. It's really cool seeing the vault door/lock and all the old bank elements. The fitting room is unisex, but spacious & private. I really love the vintage/historical feel that's maintained with all the modern/grungy touches Urban adds!
I really wish they would add some Urban Outfitter's Bedding/Sheet sets in-store! Thought they had a dedicated home goods section for some reason. Their duvet sets are popular & often sell out online because they have such unique designs. Parking is not bad at all on the small side streets - you might have to cross the street/block though.”
