These people don’t care about your well-being and would rather close earlier and make you miss two doses than do their job. I sent that order in two days ago. You should’ve seen the problem and fixed it.I hope you think of me during a panic attack when you can’t sleep at night. This is not my first bad experience here.

They don’t pick up phone. I was on hold for 45 mins only to be hung up on. And then on hold another 20 where they hung up on me AGAIN. Whoever was in charge of picking up the phone on Tuesday september 5th is a horrible employee. They let the phone ring and ring and and my issue was never resolved. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. If I could rate the god awful pharmacy -5 stars I would.

Patient staff. Clean and easy to navigate . A+ for how the staff at the pharmacy communicates.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They don't answer the phone. I say on hold for 30 minutes before the annoying music stopped and ringing began. Oh good someone finally to talk to. Nope. Just rings indefinitely. Try to renew online. Nope. This isn't the first time either. There seems to be an issue every time. And I am using one of the most commonly prescribed medications. The people are nice and seemingly competent so a star for that.

Routinely told that they have “no record” of my meds, until I share the auto-text the pharmacy sent me confirming it, and then they suddenly “find” it. Not sure how Walgreens needs to increase support to this pharmacy but I have never had an easy experience picking up meds in the year I’ve been going. The people are friendly.

Phone wait times of 45 minutes are routine. Misinformation is routine. Confusion reigns. You will have to go to the ER to get a dose of your medication. This not a coffee bar, this is a pharmacy, and people need prompt access to their medication and accurate information. I can't believe their license hasn't been revoked.

I've used Walgreens in New Hampshire for about 15+ years. They were always great and very helpful. I figured switching to another Walgreens after I moved to Maine would be a perfect plan. But, the Walgreens pharmacy on Forest Ave in Portland, has made me decide to stop using Walgreens once my refills are used there. I call and order my prescription and I'm told when it will be ready. This time frame is important to me, as I do walk a few miles to get there. So, when you say my script will be ready by 11:45 a.m. and I get there at 12:05 p.m., I would expect it to be ready and waiting. Not the case at this Walgreens. I was told it would take until 12:30 then. I watched as the pharm tech went and took my order and the medication over to the pharmacist to fill. Why wasn't it already in the line to fill?? Did they think I was joking about when I'd be there?? They also constantly were texting and auto-calling me to refill this med or another. I fell for this trick the first time. I thought it was too early to fill a prescription that they text me to have refilled. So, I said to go ahead and fill it and it asked what time I'd be there to pick it up. I have it at least 5 hours. I didn't go to pick it up that day though, because I still had plenty of the medication. Then I get a text the day after and it says that the medication I requested to refill was still too early. Then, why the heck did they ask me to refill it the day before?!?! So confusing and ridiculous. I opted out of the text refill reminders. Still, I'm not impressed with this pharmacy, as there are not nearly enough employees to handle more than one person at a time. And, they don't have your medication filled when they tell you it will be done by. Just not the kind of thing I'm used to with Walgreens in New Hampshire. I will have to switch pharmacies and that's a real bummer to me.

I have been using this pharmacy and store since 2019. I have used drive thru and visited store many times. I have also called them. They have always been very helpful and pleasant 99% of the time. CoVid has caused a lot of stress and confusion. Plus most places are under staffed. Please give them an opportunity to catch up and get into a healthy routine and working as a team. Constant change of staff and change of team members everywhere. Thank You.

The pharmacist is incredibly rude, the staff is completely incompetent, and the wait times are insanely long.

Their pharmacy sucks. Their pharmacists are rude and take forever and don't care about their clients.

All I can grade this particular store on is that they allow delivery trucks (UPS) to park in the handicap spaces. Shame, shame. With a big hulking UPS driver, I believe he should have be able to walk the extra few feet that he forced actual people to do as I witnessed.

The entire staff here is wonderful but the pharmacy staff deserves a special shout out - they are unfailingly helpful, cheerful, kind, and welcoming. I always look forward to seeing them and am grateful for not only the work they do but also for how compassionate and friendly they are as they do it.

I have been working with this Walgreens branch for a few years now for my dog's prescriptions. Heather has consistently gone above and beyond to help me each and every time. Their particular prescriptions are always on back order from the manufacturer, but she somehow manages to make sure that we never run out. She's compassionate, dedicated, and truly cares about the customers. She is a tremendous asset to the Walgreens franchise, I don't know what I would do without her being there to take care of us. I will remain a loyal customer as long as she is there.
