I see a lot of issues in the reviews for this place but my experience has been different. They have been very helpful with issues and have been open as per their posted hours. I suspect the issue is that this small post office is manned by one person (it seems) so sometimes I guess they may have to step away or close the window for a break. For me, they have been friendly and helpful.

Post master is lovely but it seems like they need to hire more people to help. They’re frequently closed during business hours with no sign posted as to why. Totally understandable if they need a break as there’s only ever one person working, but it would be helpful for them to put out a sign saying when they’ll re-open. It’s almost impossible to reach them by phone unless you feel like sitting through ten minutes of automated USPS options with no option to contact the post office directly

Why is this place always closed during business hours? Sign said “closed for lunch be back soon” at 4:30pm, 30 minutes before closing time. This is the third time I’ve tried to stop at this post office when they are supposedly open, only to find the door locked and a hand written sign affixed. It’s a shame because I love USPS but this place just consistently disappoints. Thankfully the post office further down Congress (Post Office Square) is reliable, albeit less convenient.

Brought our classroom on a field trip here at 10am on a Thursday. They were closed with no signs out and listed as open online and hours on the door.

I would do zero stars if I could. They are never open during business hours! I have to drive from a hour away until I can cancel my post box, I have driven to Portland multiple times after work to get my mail and they are closed! Closed before their closing hours! It’s ridiculous! Steer clear of this post office if you can, save yourself the hassle!

God they’re awful. They don’t know what they’re doing. Giving people false information, saying you can’t ship a laptop, give me a break. Online it says you can. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

If y'all want to experience first hand the effect of the DeJoy's attempt to sink a service that is vital to our community, this is the place. I tried to go there 3 times at different time of the day, and found the office window closed at a time it should be open, once with a note, the other times without. That's very sad, we do need USPS to be fully operational.

I've gone 3 days now with no mail being delivered when I get the emails daily showing what should have been delivered. When I do get mail delivered its always the mail from the day before but not the mail for that day. Why can't people do their job right but are the ones who complain they want more money per an hour? Pretty sad people are becoming lazy and still want more money for not doing the job right.

Mailman loses our mail, doesn't deliver packages. Instead of ringing the doorbell when a signature is needed, he'll drop off a "failed delivery" notice claiming we weren't home, when I was practically sitting by the door. I literally had to chase him down once. Ridiculous.

I have never had a problem with any of the employees here. Everyone is professional. Go in with a good attitude and you will be treated the same .

This post office can get nothing done. It took multiple tries to set up a PO box, found out it wasn't activated to receive mail when I had been paying for it for months and had a key, and now I've brought in my request for additional services multiple times and it hasn't been put into the system.
