A truly terrible bank (credit union). I have been with TCFCU over 20 years. Recently, I applied for a small loan to consolidate a couple of credit cards. The loan agent left my application on her desk for a month while she went on vacation. It took them over 5 months to, surprisingly, deny me 3 times. I can easily continue to pay the high interest with no problem but I thought, it would be nice to make use of my bank's services and consolidate. I could double my monthly payments and still be fine. TCFCU simply left me with the high interest rates. My business has thousands of dollars worth of equity, my credit rating is almost 900 and I have never been late on rent, credit card payments or any other payment, ever. My monthly expenses are rock bottom and my income is quite high. It is unthinkable they would deny me, not once, but 3 times. I thought, it surely must have been a mistake. No, this bank does not have my back. I strongly recommend developing a long term financial relationship with a different bank that does not abandon you when you request basic and reasonable services. I will be closing my account very soon, ASAP with TCFCU. I suggest you do the same. Remember, someone told you so. Don't wait until they think they have you over a barrel. That "peace of mind" you may feel is only in your imagination.

I didn’t have a problem until today! I went to McDonald’s for lunch and used my debit card. After paying on line! I realized I over drafted my account! So Fifteen minutes later! Made a cash deposit to cover the overdraft which was less than 2.00! I then saw my balance said —25.00! They charged me 30.00 for an overdraft fee! Technically, the purchase was still pending! So technically, I covered that overdraft! I could see i it had posted! Also , they could have taken it out of my savings account! But no, they have a 25.00 minimum! Like 2.00 is really a big difference! Considering I will have a direct deposit tomorrow! I will consider whether or not to stay with this credit union!

Id leave negative stars if I could! Always had great service...after today I will be closing my account. Do yourself a favor and go to a bank with some class and true customer service! I have never been talked to so rude and with such attitude from any business in my life. If you want rude people serving you this is the bank for you. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable bank!

I went to the Forest Ave branch to set up a savings account and a Roth IRA. I worked with Nick as a first time client, he was extremely helpful!! All my questions were answered thoroughly and I left feeling well taken care of! Highly recommended doing your business with Town and Country Federal Credit Union!

I have been a member for at least 15 years and have always been treated very well by tellers and loan officers alike. Recently had a problem with a teller being incredibly rude at the Northgate branch..no name tag she was Asian I think.. she was very rude and when I asked a question I was told that she knew how to do her job and didn't appreciate me telling her how to do her job.. all I asked was if she could check on something for me..wow! Hopefully you can speak to her as I am sure she treats other customers this way too!!!

What happenned to this place. Have had T+C for 19 years, love it. Always refer people, always treated great. Always rave about it. Went into Forest Ave branch today for the first time in a year. Was treated like a 3rd world citizen. All new people. Couldnt answer anything. Loan lady sitting at the desk but wouldnt answer 2 questions unless I made an appointment for 2 days from now. Short girl with glasses only knew how to say "I'm not sure" and "Maybe" and "you can try calling around other branches to ask". This branch must be under poor management now. Ill try other branch. Its a shame, blemish on perfect record.

This us the sorriest excuse for a financial institution I've ever seen. You're better off with a national online bank like metabank. They dont answer calls. Their callbacks take ours. Staff us clueless. Opening an account online is a slice of disorganized hell. They will take your money before the accounts setup take days to set ut up. And if you want to just give up and stop the account opening process they tell you you cant get your money back for 2 months. You will absolutely regret doing business with these idiots. It's hard to believe they arent closed down.

Worst credit union or bank or whatever it even is that I have ever experienced. incompetent employees, horrible fees. And they put me so far in debt I will be paying till I'm 30 years old all so the president can go hiking and sit in his mansion. Despicable practices.

Due to their malfunctioning "loan payment tool," TCFCU erroneously withdrew a couple hundred dollars from my personal savings. They have been "holding it" since July 2021 and have not returned it. They money was withdrawn after I had completely paid off my car loan and closed my TCFCU account under the supervision of their account specialist. If you are considering using TCFCU, make sure your budgeting includes the possibility of TCFCU randomly withdrawing a couple hundred dollars and holding onto it for a few months.———-Edit:What a bizarre response.“We have reached out to you…” I’ve been proactively contacting you since I saw a suspicious payment.“…and are working with you to resolve this issue…” You sometimes respond with passive aggression, condescension and certainly no reasonable resolutions.“…as quickly as possible.” It’s been nearly two months since you accidentally took my money… have you returned it?This was not feedback for you, it was a warning to potential customers.
