Terrible excuse for a government agency! When you call they just act retarded. Run by a bunch of poorly trained idiots!

WARNING: They lock the garage without warning, then charge $25 extra dollars to get out!

Worst experience I have ever had at a parking garage. The entry kiosk allowed us to enter using my credit card and would not let me exit using that same credit card. We only used the parking for 30 minutes and we were charged $40 with no alternate option (on the exact same credit card the kiosk stated was not operational). The attendant was rude and stated that this happens multiple times every day and that he is instructed to keep people there until they pay this ridiculous price due to the gross incompetence at this establishment.

They have a great location to explore old town Portland. At $5/hour, it's quite a bit pricier than the street option at half the price. However, you are guaranteed a spot and it's covered. That last part was especially helpful during the rainy day we visited.

Closed early for some reason today (7:00 PM when we came, closes at 9:00 PM), trapping cars in. Luckily we didn’t park there, but saw and talked to multiple groups of people who were waiting outside wondering why their cars were essentially kidnapped without warning. Don’t park here. If you happened to park your rental car here the night before your outbound flight, and the garage decides to close early again, you’re screwed. Read the reviews, don’t park here. Total scam. If it closes early again, take more authoritative action against this blatant scam.

Again adding to the other one star peoples reviews above if I could rate this garage with a zero star I would. We specifically walked into the MHR office at Temple Street garage and asked staff in the office if there was any problem parking overnight - the answer from two staffers was “absolutely no problem at all“ This was on a Saturday and what they failed to mention was that they are closed on Sunday. Signage explaining any policy or hours are no where to be found. Scam - stay away.

Wish I had seen the reviews before parking here as I haven't parked here in years. No warning of closing at 9 when you drive in. Come out of the movie theater and surprised by the garage being gated off and a security guard coming to collect $25 to get my car out. And I still had to pay $15 for 2.5 hrs of parking on the way out. What a scam business this is!

No issues.

This could be the most messed up system known to mankind. Understand that the garage doesn't want the expense of a real human in the booth, but trying to pay the fee, when the machine at the exit doesn't work is a full time job. First, had to wait 15 minutes for some guy to show up and let us out as the card reader was not working. Then given a website to pay on line- doesn't work, and then a phone number that is manned by the answering service that can provide no answers or help. Here I am 3 days later still unable to pay the bill. Last time I will ever park in that building. That is a guarantee.

We are Portland residents and parked here overnight during a snow emergency. The sign said $3 parking for snow emergency if out by 9am. We entered the garage at 7pm and were out by 9am and they charged us $10 because we "entered too early" even though the city garages allow people in by 5pm. It's nice that this business took advantage of people during the snow emergency.

We parked here on a visit to Portland overnight, and needed to get our car out at about 10 o'clock on Sunday morning. We got there with our baggage at 9:53, and the garage was locked up. My husband called the number and whoever answered said somebody was on the way and would be there in 30 minutes. The website says that they open at 9 o'clock on Sundays. We won't be parking here again.

Parked at 7:50. Learned you acquire a lockout fee if you're not out by 8.
