Excellent selection of both new and used baby goods. We go in whenever we can get to Portland and always come out with both clothes and toys that end up as favorites. The owner is very thoughtful and has excellent taste!

This children's boutique is amazing. Some vintage finds, gently used pieces, but a huge selection of new/high end organic style clothing at about 1/3 less than the overpriced old port. This is my favorite shop in portland for kids' clothing. Great gifts for expecting mothers as well.

I look forward to visiting this shop again and again. Samara and Courtney are so helpful every time I am in, and our discussions usually wander to things not centered on the store. 1. This helps me as a mom with an active toddler just looking to get out and make an adult connection. 2. This tells me a lot about their personalities and not just the care they put into the shop, but into parents/children as a whole. Everything they select to carry is clean, safe, and thoughtful. My daughter LOVES to visit Starry Eyes and trade in her toys she is no longer interested in, for new/different ones. And shower gifts! If you are looking for a unique and wonderful shower gift, they have beautiful cards and baby items. It is simply a place you must visit and fall in love with!

I bought a vintage fisher price barn and animals for my toddler...but really it is sort of for me. It was the same set I had as a kid. I also got a brand new wool, very high quality, neck warmer (can't think of the right word). Thin, warm, only thing that stays on my active 3 year old. I really like the broad range of prices and the quality.

The meticulously arranged shop, and awesome owner are only the tip of the iceberg here. Though not a particularly large selection of clothing, each piece is beautiful and some phenomenal vintage finds are mixed in. Great prices! The owners toy selection blew me away. Wooden play things and puzzles abound. Have to say, I bought a few vintage toys for myself. If you're an adult toy collector, or just young at heart, you'll enjoy browsing the vintage finds aimed mainly at very young children. My children also enjoyed playing while I shopped, quiet a wonderful place.

Fantastic selection, very helpful owner, and very affordable pricing. This is one of my favorite children's stores in Maine. Really sweet little ship with a bunch of items for all seasons and purposes.

Starry Eyes is a small, carefully arranged children's clothing shop on Washington Ave. They sell both new and consignment. I usually find that the appeal of a consignment store really rests in the eye of the buyer. With that said, Starry Eye's consignment collection is small yet particularly selected with a great many beautiful, quality items at reasonable prices. I should also mention that in addition to clothing, they have a great selection of shoes and even some quality toys and puzzles! I have purchased many gifts there for friends having babies and always get a "where did you get this?" when bringing a gift from Starry Eyes. Tip: The store does not necessarily wrap gifts, but they have adorable bags and tissue paper and are usually happy to fix something up for gift giving. Tip: They do have odd hours, so call ahead!
