The place helps, With tons of stuff, even in towns that they're not in, such as Bingham and Moscow Maine. The only issue I've been having is they have people that help with resources thru them, and those people are uncontactable.or, say they're gonna show up and never show up. Sometimes I have to question if all the money that Salvation Army is given to the people in rural. Parts are even getting all that money.

As a child, I wanted to be in S.A. I always saw them out panhandling for the homeless and the poor. Later I spent two years homeless as a teenager and 16 years homeless as an adult. I realized having been turned away from shelters, cooling shelters and warming shelters all across America. That S.A. isn't the giant do gooder I thought it was.Now as I sit here with a work ticket arriving ten minutes early to be courteous of their time, I realize, everybody arrived 5 minutes late, further more my time was not being respected and honored as I honored their time. But as I sit here I listen to the receptionist listen to a voice-mail complaint from a customer who left their number for resolution and he deletes it and makes a crass remark with some lively words, furthering even more negative experiences. I'm appalled by the behavior here. I ended up leaving after waiting nearly half an hour to do the work they hired me to do. Captain Michael you really need to clean up your crew. It's absolutely unacceptable and we expect more from a Christian organization.

Once turned away my 5 year old and I when we were homeless with a voucher for clothing (due to being robbed of everything we owned and our money/identification). They wouldn't even give my daughter a coat for the winter, and all we had was the clothing on our backs. They said it 'wasn't in their budget' to just 'give clothes away'.
