Great selection of Italian wines (my preference, though the French selection is incredible!) with good variety and something new every time I go in. Jacques is worth the trip and more, he’s a gem. My favorite wine shop in Portland.

I stopped in to browse the shop while I was in Portland. I started talking with Jacques and had a great conversation about his life. He has such a great outlook on life and it was refreshing to hear about good things! During our conversation, I ask if they carried French wine, and he laugh and said of course! What are you looking for. I Vaguely described a wine that I had 10 years ago and he knew exactly what I wanted. He pointed me right to it. I have been looking for this wine for many years. It was first bottles of wine my wife and I had 10 years ago. If you are looking for top notch service and appreciate when someone has passion for their business it is worth stopping in. Thank you Jacques!

A great selection of anything you need! The clerks are informative and knowledgeable and the owner, usually on site, is friendly and personable. Great selection and wonderful staff!

Wonderful wine selection and friendly staff, but if you’re looking for cigars RUN away. Humidor was overly humid and because of that, 90% of the cigars inside were covered in mold! I believe some had black mold too…. Gross

This place has a nice variety of wines, I enjoyed looking through the store. Unfortunately the person operating the store that day I didn't find very friendly to talk to about wine. In fact, I felt he looked down his nose at us, which I don't quite understand we spent about $200.....also we own a winery. Go for the selection, not customer service. If you ask me

Not so much about the shop, but the owner, a kind and generous man who came to the rescue of myself and my daughter and gave us a lift to our hotel. Jaques, if you see this, NZ lost, Portland won.Thank you.

I just want to post for others who may be confused (as I was) by the multiple food pics on this listing. This is not a place to get food & taste wine. I was planning on stopping by for a glass of wine and a small bite to eat and was surprised to see that it's just a tiny wine shop with no food or tastings available. For a wine shop, it's fine, but the food pics on this listing are very misleading. I don't want to bash their star rating too badly just because it's not the type of business I thought it was, so I'm giving 4 stars even though it was a big disappointment based on the unrelated pictures that have been posted.
