Hey NAPA team, if you’re going to have a discussion not involving work, don’t have three of you behind the partition where we all can hear you, while we stand in line because there’s only one other representative working the cash register. It really makes it worse when, you finally get to the counter and the representative says “We don’t have that.” After we waited patiently while the three NAPA guys sorted out their personal work matters.

The guys at NAPA on Presumpscot Street are the best - they helped me troubleshoot a battery switch installation way beyond the call of duty. Thank you!

As a former mechanic and DIYer I like to tackle most of my vehicle repairs myself and it usually saves me a little money but anyone that has worked on an older vehicle (mine is 20 years old) will tell you that its not uncommon to run into surprises or trouble which is what happened to me this past weekend.Recently my old rust bucket had a lot of work done on it by another shade tree mechanic (back yard mechanic) anyway when they replaced the Brake lines they didn't bother replace the old rusty fitting.. why someone would use the old rusted junk I don't know but what this meant for me is that I had flare nuts that were rusted into place, bleeder screws that wouldn't come out and brake line bolts that broke off.. Because it was a Saturday and my son had my car I was panicked and didn't know how I was going to get my project done so I went online to order the parts hopeful that same day delivery was an option. It was so I thought I was in luck but I couldn't find a couple of the parts I needed so I called the local store and the gentleman on the other end looked up the parts and gave me the parts numbers.. My cart is full and I'm now in business again BUT when I checked out I failed to click "Same day delivery"..Panicked I called the store and they were happy to make the delivery.. When the driver showed up however he only had half my stuff so he happily went to get the rest of the order but unknown to me he was in an accident. A short time later he pulls up and apologizes for not having the parts and says another driver would be around shortly. Before he was finished telling me what happened another driver showed up with the rest of my order and saved the day..even though I screwed up the order and the poor guy got in a fender bender the guys at NAPA took care of me and were very pleasant to work with not to mention very helpful.

I came in with a problem late on a Saturday afternoon. They helped me figure out what I needed and even helped me figure out how to do it. I appreciated the thoughtful service. I wish I had remembered to get their names -- I'd give them a shout-out here.

Wow! Incredible, friendly service. Huge shout out to Arvin (spelling may be wrong). I came in for some help and guidance today after discovering my headlights were out and he went above and beyond helping me. Thank you so much!

For this interaction I spoke to an associate on the phone who tried to help me to save time and money, by suggesting that I not buy anything, because in his opinion (prior to knowing my application or situation), "You don't really need those..."He really was just trying to be helpful and appear knowledgeable, but in fact I did NEED the parts I was looking for. Yes; that's why I called the parts store. That's why the manufacturers make the part's, and why you had a big catalog to verify fitment and application of said parts.I have been working on cars longer than this kid has been alive. Some of the NAPA employees need to remember that they sell to the mechanics, the farmers, the truckers, the blue collar workers who keep this world tickin'.
