I was told my vehicle was ready to pick up. I arrived at the office and was provided my keys and paperwork. I went out to inspect the work on my vehicle. I noticed my bumper was not installed correctly. The gaps were considerably off, and the bumper was offset. In addition, the hood was raised on one side and not aligned with the side panel. I went to open my hood and immediately my hand was cut by the edge of the new bug deflector that was installed. Although the bug deflector was not the same one I had originally installed this was not as much as a deal as getting cut on my hand by the new bug deflector sharp edge. I went back into the office and spoke with Jim. We went out to look over the items. He explained he would need to have the truck back and I would need to come back. I did not hear back from the office and decided after two days I would call them. I spoke with Jim, and he said it was all ready. I went to the office to pick it up. I forgot to check the bug deflector for the sharp edge until later and it still have sharp edges. I was halfway home when the tire pressure sensor warning light came on the new tire that was installed. Then I noticed greasy dirty hand marks all over the inside sun shades and ceiling on both side. The exterior also had not been washed and had dirty hand marks all over it as well. The outside will wash off, but now I have a $40,000 vehicle that has grease and dirt on the inside upholstery. This prompted me to look at everything in more detail. My steering wheel horn portion is not set in its proper position and is sticking out on one side. It looks like someone used a pocket knife to remove it and gouged the bezel of the inlay trim as well. I drove the vehicle last night and notice the headlights are not aligned properly. The bolts holding my door were loose. All around poor workmanship. Obviously there is not oversight or quality control. These items could have been easily corrected and not passed along to the customer for them to deal with. I found the whole process frustrating and neglectful.

We came in for left side body work and they destroyed right side of car including damaged alloy wheel, misaligned doors, trunk shifted. 3 months back and forth and car with 2 Moody's shops and still has air noise coming in (also damaged roof rack which wasn't even part of collision work!) and they say there's nothing they can do. shame on them!

My handicapped brother recently had a minor accident. (approx. $2K) His insurance company (The Hartford) said he should send photos of the damage for an estimate. He wanted to take it to the repair shop for an in person estimate. He was assured by both Moody's and the Hartford that was not necessary. BIG MISTAKE. The repair was not done completely. When Moody's and the Hartford were questioned why he didn't receive a complete repair he was told that Moody's felt some of the damage was a result of a different accident. They are wrong.I would urge anyone considering using the services at Moody's to make sure they get an in person estimate.

The best collision center in all of southern Maine...hands down. I haven't had to use a collision center in over 20 years. I used Yelp to find Moody's, and that's why I use Yelp. Thanks Yelp.

I backed into my garage door with my back door open. I was embarrassed and incredibly frustrated. I brought my beloved car to Moody's Collision Center in Portland ME expecting to have to claim the damage on my insurance as I thought it would cost over 1,000 to repair. Instead I was met by Chris who I believe is a service manager. He said he would have somebody look at it to see what they could do. In a few hours I received a call back from Chris saying they had fixed it at NO charge to me! I was thrilled and surprised. I highly recommend Moody's as did my auto service company, Autowerkes in Freeport (another excellent example of a company with fantastic customer service especially by a manger named Jason!)

10/10 Experience. Staff are all very friendly. Had some minor work done to my car after I was rear-ended. When I picked up the car, they had washed the outside and cleaned the whole interior as well. Was not expecting that and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely go here!

Moodys has been nothing but fantastic to work with. I was rear ended in a hit and run. Moodys made every step of the process so seamless for me. From the insurance claim, to the rental process, they really handled it almost entirely! I also just picked up my vehicle and they even cleaned it for me! I can’t recommend them enough!

My car was towed and stored here following a bad T-bone accident and ended up being totaled out. Brittany and the crew here was absolutely amazing to work with. I was extremely stressed and overwhelmed since my brand new car got wrecked. They were extremely professional and helpful, swapping my snow tires back over to stock and answering so many questions for me. It was a terrible situation but with their kindness, especially Brittany’s it stung a lot less. Thank you a million times for being so great!

I stopped in to get an appraisal for a small job. Jeff said he'd have a look at it. He went outside, saw the damage and said he'd try to fix it right there. He spent 20 minutes on it and fixed the damage! Would not accept a dime. This is truly exceptional service and kindness. I cannot recommend this co- worker owned business more highly and i will certainly be back if i need auto body work in the future!

Been here multiple times always super face service and top notch work. Ordered a part for my side mirror apart came in on the day they said it would and I was out in less than 10 mins. The original quote was $117 came out to just $87 dollars would def do business with them again

Phenomenal Business-My story: I was on my way to a kayaking weekend in Boothbay which was another 90 minutes away when my bike crashed through my rear window shattering glass everywhere. I frantically looked up nearby body shops and found Moody's. When I pulled up to the front office, An angel named Josh Paquette came out and stopped what he was doing to spend the next 75 minutes helping me remove the contents of my trunk. He vacuumed, air blew, and hosed down my items and the trunk to remove all the shards of glass. He then installed layers of crash wrap on my windshield. When I looked around their beautiful, building, I was struck by the cleanliness and professional body shop. All the while Josh was reassuring me that it would be safe to drive my vehicle and that he would remove all the glass. When he finished, he refused to accept payment and said he was happy to help. I insisted on paying him for his hour and he refused. I had to share this story because Moody's is an incredible business with super high integrity and they care about their customers. I would give them all of my business and that of everyone I know because they are truly remarkable-especially Josh. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Absolutely fantastic experience.Completed front bumper work on my truck exactly when I was told it would be.
