Maine Appliance has become my go-to store for my appliance needs.When the attachment of the spinning arm of my Maytag dishwasher broke, I did a quick Google search, got the PDF schematic for my model, and was confident that I had figured out the part that I needed.A friend had recently worked with Maine Appliance and had a good experience. So I thought: “let me stop by and talk to them.”I went into the store with the broken part and he identified a different, the correct, part that I needed. He explained why he came to that conclusion and I was happy for the expert advice. Apparently my ten minute Google search needed a bit of help from the owner's decades worth of experience.In this era of disposable technology it is wonderful to have a subject matter expert who knows what they are talking about.

Kindest and fastest service I’ve ever had at a parts shop. They had exactly what I needed, and they went above and beyond on the customer service even though I wasn’t buying much. I’ll be coming back here whenever I need a new appliance part!

A pleasant experience every single time! 25+ years of appliance part knowledge and experience, and it shows. Every time I need something I just get my model number or part number and if it’s not in stock I get it very quickly. Thank you so much!

Place is a joke, guy that works in there is completely useless. Tells me they no longer make the part I need, except I just purchased it online from Sears. One google search apparently has better suppliers than this place. Also god forbid you explain any of the symptoms your appliance is experiencing and ask for advice. You’ll get a blank stare…”I just need a part number”. I suggest you just get your parts online, this place shouldn’t need to exist.

Been buying parts off Maine appliance parts since they opened . Never got wrong part .any problems, any issue he took care of it . Super great guy ,love his pups too lol .. if I need parts I will continue to buy from them !!!!!

Called ahead and was able to determine parts were available. Drove to Portland, picked up all the parts I needed to get my gas dryer working again. Very fair pricing and courteous service. Happy to support this bricks and mortar store

I ordered a specific part that I needed for my stove. Gave them the specific details, part number, etc. A week later I go to pick up the part and they gave me the wrong part. After paying $120 for the wrong part and then noticing it was the wrong part, I asked to return it before even leaving the building. They stated they do not accept returns and refused to give me my money back. This is unacceptable and not a way to run a professional business. If they ordered the wrong part and I hadn't even left the store yet, they should absolutely refund me my money. DO NOT GO HERE!!! HORRIBLE STAFF AND POLICIES.

Quick and easy. I called to see if they had the part I needed, they did and set it aside. Friendly service. Bonus, they have a couple of shop dogs behind the counter.

" Quick and friendly" makes it different than other parts stores. Seems like any part not in the store today can be there tomorrow.
