Would not have come in but we saw the cutest white husky dog sleeping peacefully in the front steps! We learned puppys name is Ember from the stores employee who was super sweet. We liked these cool bags and she told us their backstory about how they’re eco friendly made from recycled oyster farms. We ended up buying a beautiful brown leather bag and were so happy ember interested us enough to come in :)

Great Portland shop! We were walking by and Ember, the husky, was laying in the entrance. We immediately had to stop and say hi. We were delighted to find a wonderful little maine store. We wouldn’t have stopped if not for Ember. Sweet pup

Had such an amazing experience here! The shop is beautiful and the cashier Anne was great and super friendly! Her dog ember was a hit!

Came in for Ember, the beautiful husky curled in a ball at the entrance, but stayed for the awesome items! Got a really nice wooden platter and the woman who helped us checkout was super friendly and helpful!

I was drawn into the store by the beautiful calm husky sleeping on the doorway. As a husky owner myself, I thought that I must see what this store has to offer and as a reason to get closer to the husky. I also saw others falling for the husky charm and taking a look around. After looking around, I ended up buying two purses.If you are in Portland stop by to check out the store and see the calmest well trained husky in the state! And for the nice lady running the shop, you were right….I love my new purse!!

The moment you step into the store, you’re surrounded by beautiful, practical items with lots of color! Ann was incredibly friendly and helpful-definitely a people person! This store just makes you happy.

I keep hearing that this is the happiest store in Portland and I absolutely find it to be true! Wonderful, cheery designs in vibrant colors, unique, beautiful seasonally appropriate clothing, fabulous, happy coastal inspired dishes, acrylic glasses, serving pieces, fun and interesting cards and gifts, some spectacular imported Italian Pottery, the best T-shirts in Portland! Great quality, fabulous designs that aren’t hokey tourist, and this place is always always always packed with happy customers! A great local business to support in so many ways… Don’t worry – everyone leaves happy! ?

One of my favorite stores but I'm so disappointed that they've joined the ranks of stores being open while most people work. I had plans to stop by to grab a gift after work so I drove in town and parked - only to realize they now close at 5:00. How about being there for locals as well as tourists????

This was such a fun small shop to visit while in Portland! We were walking around the city and when we noticed the bright colors and beautiful designs inside we knew we had to go in. They had so many cute things - from mugs and hats to coasters and home decor. We ended up buying a beautiful coloring book for a friend. We love to support local artists, so we'd definitely go back during our next visit to Maine. Totally recommend this spot if you're looking for that one-of-a-kind special gift.
