I went to this store while in Portland. I loved it! They have such cute things and the employees were so willing to help. There is a lot of shopping in this area. Don't miss this store.

I was visiting Portland last weekend. I went into the store and purchased a ring from a company called Pura Vida. Love the ring, however, that evening I noticed the stone fell out. I contacted the company and they were not willing to help at all. So I called the Store and spoke with a nice young lady named Rhiannon. What an amazing experience. She was so helpful and apologized and is sending me another ring. Now that's customer service. I love this store and it's a must-go-to when I visit Portland. I wish we had more people and stores willing to help out like this. Thank you.

I've been to the Life is Good store in Portsmouth several times, but I think this spot has a lot more character and a better display layout than the one in Portsmouth. They have a great selection of clothing with interesting graphics, and most of it is all 'Life is Good' themed, but not all. I liked the sweatshirt with the very-popular-these-days 'WTF' monogram, but with a fish illustration and the words, 'Where's the Fish'. Clever. Their clothing is a little pricy but most of it is made with quality cotton fiber. They had a great sale when I went. Life is Good has some nostalgia for me because its CEO was the commencement speaker at my son's college graduation and gave a very inspiring, funny, and memorable speech while throwing (and retrieving) a big rubber beach ball at the students -- not the kind of speech you forget!
