I’d like to extend my highest endorsement for the Law Office of James Wade.\\nLike anyone who receives a letter from the IRS, it’s disconcerting. Not sure what to do, I wanted to find a reputable Tax lawyer for help.\\nThankfully, I got lucky by writing to Attorney James Wade.\\nIn a series of back and forth emails, his guidance, and most importantly, reassuring manner, let me know I made the right choice. We have worked with James on an IRS issue that had been on-going since 2019. The IRS claimed we owed them more than we had paid in taxes on our Federal return. When we followed James's advice and filed an amended return, the IRS agreed with James position and we received a significant refund (enough to buy a good used car!). James is easy to work with and highly responsive. He is willing to answer emails and provide advice without always charging hourly fees. Highly recommend him and I will use him in the future if we ever have IRS issues again.

I had been attempting to work with the IRS on my own, until my revenue officer levied my bank accounts and my wages with zero communication beforehand. I realized that I was in over my head and needed to get some assistance. I called Attorney Wade’s office in tears and he promptly called me back and his responses truly honored the urgency and fear I was feeling. I met with him first thing in the morning, and the mess of paperwork I dropped on his desk closely mirrored the mess in my mind. He reviewed my notices and very calmly and clearly explained the options I had, which had not been presented by my revenue officer. He explained that he could certainly represent me, and at very reasonable rates, but he also stated that he thought I could navigate this on my own and save myself the legal fees. He took me though the exact forms I needed to file and in which order to tackle them, reviewed every route I could take, gave me contacts to call, and waited patiently while I took detailed notes on everything. I left his office and immediately started working my way though his to-do list, and within 24 hours I had levies lifted and a new, alternative solution in place. He even followed up via email several times to assist me in my process and answered additional questions. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and honest. I would not hesitate to use him in the future if I find myself in this terrible mess ever again.

James was referred to me for a very cumbersome and daunting tax lien that was accidentally put on my home by the IRS. He gave me very excellent legal advice throughout the whole process. He reassured me plenty of times when I was so doubtful anything good would come out of it. He sure was right! He successfully and in a very timely manner got the IRS lien lifted from my home. As a single mother this was nothing short of amazing! He kept me from having to face painful agony from any financial tax burden that absolutely wasn't my responsibility. I seriously can't tell him thank you enough. He is an expert, patient and will give you sound legal advice on any tax issue you bring to him. He cares about his clients and never gives up or becomes negative even when you can't seem to stay positive. That's what he did for me. My husband and I were looking to qualify for an offer in compromise with the IRS to pay off taxes that we owed. We hired Mr. Wade for a very fair price. After he investigated and crunched the numbers in every way possible to help us, he concluded that we would not qualify. His commitment to helping us did not end there. He continued to work with us to pay off our taxes, offering his expert advice. He answered all our questions thoroughly and continued to help us see this through to the end.
