Went to the monument square branch in portland,Maine 04101 today to use my safe deposit. Branch opens at 9:00 am I arrived at 9:30 am and the door was locked. I found another entry into the shared building where a security guard called the branch to tell them the door was locked. After waiting another 10 minutes in the cold , a key bank employee opened the door. After I asked why the door was locked 30 minutes after opening hours , he just said oh “ I guess the lock isn’t working”. Never apologized. Time to replace the manager.I’m a long time customer of key bank and I use a different branch that I am happy with but will never use this branch again!Gary BerlucchiSouth Portland, Maine

I have been waiting over a year for the manager to call me about an unresolved issue with my safety deposit box. Have talked to the call center and they said I need to talk with the bank directly. Put in multiple request to be contacted via phone or email. They are only open during 9-5 Monday through Friday when most people are working. Have called and left multiple messages with no returned calls. Awful awful experience with this place. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Fees are ridiculous! They call it FeeBank for a reason. Stay away! And, I have a very good idea myself on how to avoid these fees.
