“Since starting our relationship in October 2022 with Craig Joncas & his colleague Jessi Dolmage, we have been incredibly impressed with their service. They are both quite impressive — extremely smart, knowledgeable, and professional. They respond to our questions & concerns with lightning-fast speed, and provide thorough & detailed answers either by phone or e-mail. They’re also readily available for meetings by Zoom and in-person.From the start of our relationship, theIr work product of several 30+ page reports & revisions reflect thoughtful consideration and are directly tailored to our circumstances & needs for short- and long-term financial planning. There’s nothing “cookie cutter” about their recommendations and advice. These recommendations & advice already have saved us more money than their annual fixed fee. In other words, the value of their services is outstanding to say the least. Moreover, while Penobscot offers investment management & other services for a separate fee, Craig’s & Jessi’s reports have provided (for no additional fee) a detailed analysis of our investments and suggested changes in allocations and the like moving forward. In short, we feel that Craig & Jessi have constructed financial order in our life to meet our goals. Moreover, we have complete compete confidence that they will update their work & answer all questions as our circumstances change. We will definitely continue to work with Craig & Jessi on a regular basis & recommend them to others without the slightest reservation.”

“Updated review from 2021: (5 stars) Looks like they changed their investment limit policy. Super helpful staff and available to answer a wide range of questions. Glad to see this branch now provides assistance to the average Mainer.Previous review from 2019: (1 star) Couldn't make an appointment here as they only cater individuals with at least $500,000 invested. Not available for the average Maine resident. Lame.”

“The complaints concerning phone advice and service problems are like whining about the cold weather - what did you expect, anyway? If people need a hand holder then they should not be with Fidelity. Try your local stock gouger. He'll answer all your questions and charge five dollars a minute for "advice".Fidelity is top notch. I am in Portland frequently to visit my son but I have never felt the need to go into the Fidelity office. Why? This is a hands off low load / no load / no frills mutual find company that just so happens to offer many of the options that full service offers - without the service...When I want money / transfers / notaries / etc - I go into my credit union. They like holding hands and they also sell mittens.”
