Jessica is great - very kind and easy to work with. And of course, excellent at cutting hair. It's hard to find a person you can "trust" your hair with, and I very much trust Jessica with it :)

I recently had a straight razor shave with Dez, and it was fantastic! It was my first time trusting someone else to shave my beard besides myself, and Dez made me feel comfortable right away. The experience was smooth, professional, and left me with the cleanest shave I've ever had. I'll definitely be going back for more! Highly recommend Dez for anyone looking for a great grooming experience.

I was very nervous to get my hair cut; I'm one of those people that waits a few years between cuts. Jessica was phenomenal. She was knowledge and kind and gave me the exact cut I was looking for. It's one of the best haircuts I've ever had!

I got my first haircut with Justin in preparation for a work trip and I was so impressed with the experience for a variety of different reasons. When I walked in, Justin was cutting another person's hair. He took the time to greet me and the way in which he did made me feel instantly welcome. I enjoyed a nice window seat looking out on Fore Street below while I waited. When it came time for my haircut, Justin was helpful in offering some styling tips. I appreciated the focus and attention he brings to his work. I was very happy with the results and will look forward to returning in the future when I am in Portland!

Justin and Jess have been cutting my entire family's hair for nine years now. Think about that. They are both amazing at what they do, and extra bonus - they are great human beings. Justin knows exactly how to cut my hair, and the smile on my daughter's face when she looks at her hair in the mirror after seeing Jess is priceless. Don't consider going anywhere else, seriously.

Justin and Jess both do an excellent job, my husband and I have gone to them for years. Justin even cuts our picky teenager’s hair and he loves it every time. I highly recommend this salon!

The owner of this salon didn’t follow my guidance and cut off far more hair than I requested, despite even showing him a picture. It is at least 3” shorter.I cannot recommend this place. He offered for me to come back if I needed any touch ups, but no touch up can bring back my missing hair.

I was a walk-in because I’m traveling and the stylist told me he could squeeze me in between appointments. I was fine with that. He moved fast but I walked out so happy and feeling good. I’m queer, which many people will understand makes a good haircut hard to find, especially a spontaneous walk-in. He totally nailed it. I was kind of shocked. I’m saying ‘he’ because I can’t remember his name now.

First time experience was awesome (with Justin). Came in with long hair that I didn't know what to do with (past my shoulders), and left with a few inches off, a great shape, and the volume my wife told me to get. He gave great education on how to style it going forward and was just a pleasure to be around. I will certainly be back.Services: Long haircut

I got my hair cut with Justin. He is a very talented barber who does an excellent job. No complaints, everything was even, nicely trimmed and done well.He also recommended a few hair products (at my request, he wasn't pushy about selling them) which actually helped my hair. I've been recommended many products over the years by hair stylists/barbers that end up either doing nothing or making the situation worse. But these were the first products that had my hair looking and feeling the way I want it to.So if you're looking for a great haircut I'd strongly recommend Justin.

Justin's great reviews brought me to Ethan Hunter Salon. I needed a new stylist after a bad cut from elsewhere. He was very welcoming and gracious about fixing someone's poor cut. I left feeling very relieved and pleased with my great new cut. Will be back!
