I should have read the reviews before purchasing.I have spent six months working on an install job. The salesperson was horrible with communication and often took several days to respond to the smallest questions. Still, the tile is great and my contractor recommended them, so I continued. Many other tile guys were booked far out. After weeks of no communication and several inquiries, I wanted to demand an install date. The saleswoman stated that they would do the install in four days. That surprised me that it was that soon without notice but I didn’t want to lose my spot. Due to their poor communication I had to hurry all my work. I got another date three days later but they didn’t call and didn’t show. I set up another date and they didn’t call and didn’t show.Now, I have thousands in my deposit and no date and no communication. I don’t even get excuses. I get nothing with three full days of missed work.

Very disappointing customer service & follow up!! Selection is excellent but I won’t be returning to this establishment due to the lack of communication & follow up

After looking in 3 other stores, we finally found the color tones in tile we liked at Distinctive Tile. Baxter understood what we were talking about. The selection is simply huge. The tile came in quickly, but like most else in this pandemic, we had to wait for installation about a 6 weeks (including Xmas & New Year). But all is on the walls now and looking so very good. Jeff, the installer, was a real whirlwind but very careful and did extensive cleanup daily. Took him about two days for the job. We definitely recommend this company.

As others have reported, this store has the most gorgeous tile and the broadest selection one can imagine. With that said, we won't be going back due to how rude the woman working in the store is. We had this experience a couple of years ago when tiling our hearth, but assumed it was a fluke. We went back today because we're starting a bathroom remodel, but the woman was just as rude as she was a couple of years ago. When we told her that we wanted to look around, she just stared at us for several seconds before apparently giving us permission. I'm disappointed to see that the owner knows that this is happening, but is not making any changes as a result of the reviews left on this site. With sadness for the loss of access to such beautiful tile, we'll take our business elsewhere. I can't imagine why anyone would want to go through life with such a sour attitude.

Truly disturbed by the customer service experience. Walked in 15 minutes before closing on a Saturday to start to take a look around. Staff person completely ignored us, walked away when we walked in and did not ask a single question. Totally dismissive and rude.

I was very excited upon entering this shop. It appeared that there was every possible tile choice in one place. That excitement disappeared quickly as I was not even acknowledged. No hello nothing. I spent several minutes looking but no one approached me to see if I needed assistance. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Incredibly rude staff working here. We waited patiently for 15 minutes while it appeared no one worked there. We finally found a woman and asked if there was anyone available to talk to about prices. She huffed and puffed as though we were her biggest inconvenience in an empty store and said she was busy.

Distinctive Tile & Design is my go to place for tile!! The selection is vast and always changing and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are always willing to assist you with ideas and suggestions and allow you to borrow samples whenever and however many times you might need them to ensure your project comes out perfect. There are options to fit any budget and every project. I always find just the right thing at Distinctive! I highly recommend Distinctive Tile.

They are no different! They have always made things right for me and my clients!! Larry & Claudia Stoddard take their business very seriously as do all their staff! I personally would never use anyone else for my Tile business!

Larry and his team just finished a Reno on my home. It included my kitchen tile and backsplash and bathroom countertops. They are gorgeous. Can’t say enough about the quality, service and cost. Would recommend!!!
