Went here to buy the generic power cord that powers many machines from sewings machines to ps2s… expected at most a $3 price tag but they pull one from a bin full and tell me $6. I said “ummmm no thank you.” And walked out. Went to goodwill and bought the same cord for $10 with a whole $400 printer attached. This pawn shop would have sold that for $500. They’ve got 20 year old power tools that cost as much as you can buy them brand new… I wouldn’t recommend buying or selling here.

The man with sleeve tattoos is the most disrespectful person on the planet. They will low ball you!!! Take you business to Stinson & Company or Maine Gold and Silver! This joker will offer less than half spot price on 24k gold!!! Avoid this business at all cost!!

I went in to look around and was insulted by there policy,They wanted me to leave my backpack at the counter,Why should I trust them if they don't trust me,And there were plenty of employees working as well as cameras working,I don't know they must of thought I was going to put the grandfather clock in my backpack.

I pawned a very nice rc truck. They took it out and ruined the body and denied it. Idc if they ever help me again it’s the principle. $45 for a new body, just so the guys know there it’s not made for the road and I never drove it in the road. Therefore the damage you did to the body by riding wheelies on paved surface is ridiculously your fault. You owe me $45!!!

I drove 45 mins to get down there at 1:00and found out they were closed. Search brought me to the facebook page which showed 2:00 as closing time on Saturday. I'm sure it would avoid a lot of headache, fuel waste, and loss of valuable time if the pages were updated.

The people who run this store are crooks who make a living from low balling drug addicts. I brought in a bar of silver awhile ago and was told by this store it was fake and tried buying it from me for $5. I took it to Maine gold and silver to be tested on one of their machines and they told me it was 999 fine silver. I understand pawn shops need to make profit but Every item I have every brought here to sell they offer me a laughable amount. And are extremely rude the whole time. Go to Stinson and company. Much better pawn shop.

I went in there to sell some stuff I got cleaning up my house. Staff treated me as more of Nuisance than a customer. After explaining what I had he didn't even make an offer just offered me as little as possible for some of my things. I believe his words were "I dont even know where to begin with these so hows five bucks" I don't know if all the staff here are the same as this one but he definitely fit the stereotype of a pawn shop worker. No haggling or customer service at all

I often find myself saying to my friends "Pawn - with a W, not Porn with an R & get your mind outta the gutter while I tell my experience please". Bunch's yoyos. Because they (my moronic friends) mostly seem to think they're all high-end hoity toity purchaser's of goods and services at hoity toity businesses. These sweet knuckleheads just seem to enjoy telling me that they paid this tremendous amount of money for some piece of crap, rapidly depreciating item. Personally, I'm not into bragging, but if I do - it'll not be about how wonderfully I just got jacked. Pawn shop shopping has always made good business sense to me - new or used - never have I had a malfunction, unnoticed painted over and doctored up damaged item. But I've certainly seen my share of repacks pushed as New in the Box in retail stores in Manhattan. So do yourself a favor & drop the phony baloney wanna be posh behavior my dearly dilusional friends. (Yes, I'm talking to my friends I've known personally for years, not my YELP friends, just to clarify). Sam was quite busy upon my initial arrival, understandably so - I walked around, strummed a guitar, flipped through some albums (cool music selections) checked out some coins and cards, electronics and tools - proceeded to depart yet return the very next day. Coleman 425 Guide Series was an immediate sale, Sam worked with me on price, he had carefully saved the extra fuel and funnel - it was brand spanking new - never seen the light of day - beautiful camping stove. Then we proceeded to open the THULE bicycle rack box and tinker with it together - alas, my YUBA was too beefy to fit it. But this is what I'm saying, this is my point - where else will the business owner/manager take the time to perform that level of service? Regular retail operations wouldn't entertain the thought and that's another reason for they are a dying breed of complacent dinosaurs. Sam's got 5 stores, so if your ever in mid Maine - go check 'em out and tell 'em "Mr. Alarming sent me".

Brought a 4 oz 999silver platinum plated coin here. Guy at the counter told me it was fake. And Laughed about it. Immediately went to Maine gold and silver to have it tested. Was 100% real. Have heard other stories about this place. Will never sell anything here again.
