“I wish I lived closer to Portland, just so I could visit this place every day! This is the most amazing art supplies stores I've encountered in a long time. Back in Montreal, Canada, we had a few similar stores, but they've all been replaced by generic art supply chains, disappearing one by one :(Stepping into this store was like stepping into a treasure trove. I got so caught up in the excitement that I ended up blowing my monthly budget in less than 30 minutes — but it was totally worth it! Every aisle is packed with high-quality materials and a plethora of options for anything an artist might need. The staff members are another highlight; they greet you with a smile, are incredibly knowledgeable about their inventory and techniques but most of all they are genuinely eager to help.I'm already looking forward to my next visit in Portland. This place is a gem, and I can't wait to explore it further!”

915 Forest Ave, Portland“Wonderful, large bead store with lots of Miyuki beads, beach glass focals, Czech glass beads, kits, and so much more. Very friendly staff, components by local artists, classes offered, and an attached museum with some amazing works! Truly a must-see for anyone interested in beading. Lots of books, too!”
“Really nice JoAnn's with tons of fabric! I found everything I was looking for for my most recent project with ease (and maybe a bit more, haha). The only weird thing is that the store was dead silent, I guess all the crafting goods stacked high capture the sound like a noise cancelling barrier. In any case, I was very pleased and happy I found some material I was struggling to find anywhere else.”
“The Art Mart has been my go to place for more years than I can even remember. If they don't have it they can get it.
It's a family run store and the are very friendly and helpful”
