Wolf Cove was the perfect hideaway off the beaten path but convenient to the highway and a quick getaway from our southern Maine tourist boom. The sweeping views of Tripp Lake are calm and peaceful, making the experience that much more beautiful in itself. Our sourdough crusted pizza and farmers salad dinner in the boathouse was hard to be beat, and had we more time we would’ve been all over the outdoor spa sanctuary with sauna and cold plunge. After a great nights sleep, a perfect breakfast was waiting for us and some more blissful time spent basking in the sun before heading to nearby Pineland Farms for activities. As a lifelong Mainer, Wolf Cove Inn of 2024 is the perfect escape, welcoming all, and gives an upscale yet quintessential lakeside Maine experience. Run don’t walk!

We had the most wonderful get an away with our dogs to Wolf Cove Inn. Every aspect was spectacular. We spent a whole day at the property just relaxing and it went by too fast! Would love to come back!

We stayed for a quick night away. The owners greeted us with a glass of wine, and gave us a tour of the property. The lakeside location was beautiful and very relaxing. Room was very clean with great furnishings. Top notch amenities. We had our dinner in the boat house during sunset, and it was a perfect night. Breakfast the next morning on the porch was very well prepared. 5 star property all around. We will be back.

We stayed in the Winter Harbor room in May 2024. This room is wonderful with incredible views of the lake. Our stay was fabulous. Geoff and Nicole were very gracious hosts.

This was the most wonderful bed & breakfast that we've ever stayed in! Geoff, Nicole, and the entire staff were always there to ensure we had the best stay possible. From the beautiful views, taking a canoe to see the bald eagles, reading in the boathouse, and the sauna & cold plunge oasis, we couldn't have asked for a better trip. The food was a 10/10 as well. We hope to visit again soon!

My husband, dog, and I had the best time at Wolf Cove Inn. The owners and staff were friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed delicious meals in our room and at the dining room, all with a breathtaking lake view. We experienced a relaxing massage, kayaking, and indulged in tasty s'mores by the firepit while enjoying the sunset view over Tripp Lake. Our dog was also spoiled, delighting in the rustic outdoors while still being pampered; while we were greeted with an offering of wine, beer, or soda, our dog was greeted with an offering of "pupcakes" - which our picky senior girl devoured. We are already looking forward to our trip there next year!
Rooms: We stayed in the Eagle's Nest Cabin, which in summation had a feel of "rustic luxury" - gas fireplace and bathroom adorned with tasteful stonework, wooden framework and furnishings, a flatscreen television, and dog food/water bowls. The western located windows invited a gorgeous sunset and lake view.
Food & drinks: The inn uses farm-to-table and organic ingredients; not only was the food fresh, but it was also delicious. For breakfast, you could place an order the night before for a sweet or savory entree and then other side options. For dinner, the options were pizza or chili made to custom order. There are some places to eat nearby that we tried, but our preference was to eat onsite due to the excellent quality and incomparable taste.

Jeoff was absolutely amazing, he was so informative and always made sure everything was good. His wife wasn't so person orientated, ask for help with something, was told don't have it, then got walked off . No other options to choose from. I didn't mind purchasing, so that was the only -1 for service.
The bed was a little firm, but oh my goodness the bedding was heaven. Only 1 other thing that is no ones fault is that the walls are a little thin, but in the bedroom you couldn't hear as much in the suite we were in.
The location is amazing, it's beautiful. There is a bunch of seating everywhere. The kayaks were a nice little touch.
The food was absolutely delicious! Dinner was fantastic, and one of the best desserts I've had. Breakfast was awesome. A little different than your normal pancakes or waffles. Definitely delicious though!
The fire area is super cute, met a nice couple there and made smores. Got some cute smore sticks from Goeff, he really really tries to put nice little touches into everything and it shows. All the food is made locally and I want more of it that's forsure.
My boyfriend bought the flowers and chocolate strawberries kit, I will say it was odd having 5 of them for 2 people. Even number would definitely be better. But they were good!!! And the flowers were absolutely beautiful
Used the jacuzzi tub and it was amazing. I WILL be coming back. I absolutely love this place.
Rooms: I loved the Acaida suite, has an amazing jet tub, a large shower with two different shower heads. The shampoo and conditioner are amazing, i wanted to buy them! And they are hand made!!!!
There was a livingroom area, and a separate bedroom which I love to have more space.
Food & drinks: Everything was absolutely great. Home made dressing, local yummy pizza dough, locally made English muffins!

Wolf Cove Inn is a lovely place for a getaway. The rooms are well kept and very nice; the bed was so comfortable and we loved the jacuzzi and fireplace. The food is also excellent - breakfast was really good and pizza for dinner was delicious too. And the staff is friendly and kind. Views of the lake were wonderful. A great place!
Noteworthy details: Very comfortable room and wonderful staff. Beautiful land views. Serene setting.

11 out of 10. The entire experience was far above expectations. Starting with wine at check-in, chilled champagne, flowers, and incredible chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in the room, then a private dinner in the boathouse at sunset, everything was a cut above and beyond. All the food was simply amazing, and only topped by the casual hospitality and relaxing environment. Couldn't have been any better.

I booked this place as a surprise for my parents 40th anniversary and they absolutely love it which is mostly what I care about, but I can't say I wasn't disappointed with the misleading pictures of the Katahdin room. I booked the more expensive room for them partially because the beautiful ornate bed looked straight out of a fairytale and was the focal point of the room. The other amenities in the room played a role in the booking as well, but it was ultimately the bed that convinced me to pay extra. The whole booking was over $400 for one night + almost $100 romance package so I was expecting them to get what I saw in the pictures but the bed is completely different. The rest of the room seems true to the pics but it's just kind of disappointing when you shell out a lot only for it to be different in person. Aside from that the place seems great in every other way but this was a bummer.

If I could give Nicole and Geoff a higher review I would. Me and my fiancé stayed here for our anniversary, and their place is was absolutely perfect! From the moment we walked in it felt like we were home, they are the friendliest people with a lot care to what goes on in and around their little slice of heaven. Jason, Aj and all their staffing were also very friendly and make deliciously clean food. When you’re eating you can tell that love and time went into what they were serving you and not just a quick thought. The atmosphere itself is breath taking, from the dining area, the sun room to the beautiful view all around the grounds over Tripp lake, when the sky is clear you can get beautiful photos of the stars and unreal photos of the sunrise in the morning, we stayed in the Eagles Nest and it felt truly like we were home. We had the hardest time leaving. Every morning I would go into the main building and would talk with Nicole or Geoff and be greeted by them and their son Aiden, who is definitely in charge of you have a chance to check out their Instagram he is usually the ones giving tours with Geoff. It’s a very family oriented environment and you can tell that they care about your stay with them. If you are ever planning a trip to Maine. Wolf Cove Inn should be first priority for a place to stay. Thank you Wolf Cove Inn for becoming something we plan on going to every year as a family tradition we can’t wait to come back already

We stayed for a week to get married and see the eclipse. Our trip was absolutely incredible. The sauna experience is a must, as is dinner at their pizzeria and s’mores by the fire pit. The views of the lake are unbelievable, especially when the loons are out! We went in off-season and still had so much fun and never ran out of things to do. Nicole and Geoff are amazing hosts and you will NOT regret choosing Wolf Cove for a romantic trip!
