I was there in 2018 for the nostalgia as i was a student in Umaine, orono 1994-1996. I think the place was called Thriftway then. The store owner i met in 2018 was a very pleasant and helpful. I am grateful i manage to find the things i was looking for there. Anyone has the store phone number or contact, tks.

The place may be new but I love this place already. It's a bit small when it comes to selection but there's still a good amount of stuff to last you if you're doing groceries. It's also very convenient for me since I live across the street, my only complaint is that there's no meat section (fresh meats, not the sliced packaged kind) but like I said the place is small so I don't hold it against them. Highly recommend if you're in the area

I wanted to like this store. This isn't really a grocery store.. it's a junkfood convenience store that sells a few grocery items at insane markup. An 8 oz. bag of shredded mozzarella: $5.39 at the Local vs. $2.22 at Hannaford.. a 250% markup. All their items are like this. This is a store if you desperately need 1 thing and you're too lazy to go to IGA/Hannaford. Their homemade bagels are tasty, the staff are nice. They need to paint lines in the parking lot. It's a slight improvement over a gas-station store, but only barely.

Loved the old staff, but the store was in shambles. It felt like walking through the set of a long forgotten 90s sitcom. The new renovations are literally a new breath of life and though all of the staff are new they are all wonderful. We are very grateful for the opportunity to shop so close to home! Keep it up!

Best place ever finely a great place close to shop, alot of good products to choose from, friendly people, I love the Italian sandwichs there great, what a awesome place!
