“This is one the best liquor stores in Maine. Worth the drive from anywhere! Always good whiskey barrel picks, great selection of cold beer and seltzers, and usually a treasure to find on the shelves. Thank you!”

“Not the best produce, but not bad either… and sometimes the meat goes bad before the best by date so I only buy raw meat if I’m cooking it the same day or the next. It’s not my fridge because everything else including milk is fine and when I buy raw meat from other stores, the meat doesn’t go bad quickly. Once you know the quirks of the store and what to buy or not buy, it’s a good local grocery store and the employees are all very nice.”
“Friendly staff and good selection of products. Keep in mind that in Bangor flavored products are banned so if you want flavors other than regular you need to go to their other locations. They have a decent selection of alcohol as well.”

It was a gift for my husband who was celebrating a new job, and he said it was the best sour he has ever had next to a gin and tonic flavored one that was discontinued a few years back. “Although they have no control over pricing, they do have control over their attitude. Every single employee I have dealt with has been the absolute best!!! Needed a bunch of nips for an adult egg hunt (it’s Easter) and wanted a specific type for different people. Clerk was not only amazing but felt he was very personable!! Gave me suggestions and I never felt hurried!!! Damon’s Bangor is the best!!!”

“Went here all the time while we attended UMaine. Our weekend treat was to go on a Friday afternoon and get a few fancy craft sodas to enjoy over the weekend. On snow days we went in the morning for fresh donuts and hot cocoa. It was nice to always see Roberta in there. I hope we get to return there someday.”
