i previously worked here i was fired about a month ago and i still am close with some workings who have been pushed away by horrible management i went in a couple weeks ago with all of mine and my boyfriends clothes to get done and an amazing worker i know her name got it all done and it was all dry this week i had put my clothes in for a switch over and an entire bag of clothes is still wet i’ve never done this in my time working there and i know the name of the male who also was working.

This place is sparkling clean, the service is friendly, the machines are brand new, and they take credit cards! It is a little expensive (a wash cycle starts at $4.75 for the smallest machines), but well worth it. There is A/C, Wifi, a change machine, a drink machine, and a restroom in here. The dryers are substantially more economical, starting at $1.50 for half an hour. Both the washers and the dryers do a fast, thorough, and superb job! I was in and out of here for a wash and dry in less than an hour!

This is one of the cleaner laundromat near me. We're left alone, we can get in and out. And our clothes don't stink after washing. I do recommend, cleaning out the detergent container on the washing machines because mold does grow when constantly wet. Open the lids up after people use them to keep them drying out through the day. Other than that it's a good place to go. Also next to all the shopping places you need.

I doubt you could get the worst service from gold star cleaners in old town, Maine than I received today. I dropped off my academic robes earlier in the week with a promise they would be ready today. Instead, when I called the outlet tonight, I was told there was no sign of them, and they did not know where they were. A bit of a worry, to say the least. So their poorly trained but delightfully polite member of staff called their manager, who told them he was going to call all the shops to try and find it. Luckily they did find it still at the depot shortly afterward. When. I spoke to the manager they were not prepared to do anything to help me. I was told that they could get it to the old town outlet by 6 pm, giving the impression this would be a massive problem for them and for them to be offering such an amazing service, I should really be thankful for this “compromise” (remember I been told it would be available first thing in the morning today) and he would not change his timing to held a distressed customer. By this time, I had already been at the shop for 40 minutes, and the manager suggested I simply wait another hour and 15 minutes until they could be bothered to drive the 15 minutes from Brewer to old town to fix their mistake was simply ludicrous. Talk about a lack of customer service. During our conversation, I offered several compromises to get my robes to me only to be told they, “We’re not The post office or UPS,” which is clearly true as they have things like tracking numbers and helpful employees to help customers find out about the service they have bought.I can only hope my robes are there tomorrow, but sadly I fear the worst. They also lacked the fresh dry cleaned smell you except. This led me to propose a scenario of events.Thursday my items were misplaced” aka lost, and not cleaned. The delay involved the depot doing a rush job on them, effectively a quick press and race to the shop to save place and no dry cleaning, or cleaning at all for that matter.So I can now add to my scores: standard of cleaning, very poor.This led me to do more research on the company, all I can say is I wish I'd looked at their reviews on the Better Buisness Beureau as they seem to be reflective of the service than the 3.8 average they have here and in Yelp, where clearly they are using friends to get a higher review.What is us laughable is this quote from their website.“ We take pride in being the best and we back it up 100%. If you're not 100% satisfied in any way we'll clean your garment again at no cost. If we can't make it right, I'll give you your money back! Quality, service and your complete satisfaction are our main goals.” talk about misleading advertising. Not that I'm asking for my money back that bird has flow, as I'll never set foot in one of their hovels ever again.All I want to do is prevent any reader of this review from receiving the same horrific service & bad treatment, because as customers receiving this “service”, we deserve better, and you can get that better service just about anywhere else.

Very expensive! Wash dry fold was $150 for a couple bags. And the clothes smelled after.

Place is so-so. Tanning salon within establishment is a turn-off and a waste of space. No ATM available and no machines operates with cards. Makes my time so much easier than either walking out to the other side of corner several doors away just to get cash that I don't carry anymore. Washers are tiny for the outrageous price that almost equals to a bigger-sized load machine. Staff is friendly. Overall, it's okay, wouldn't go again.

This place now has machines that take credit cards. They have clearly been investing in the location with multiple renovations. I found the staff present to be friendly and helpful.

It's fair.... Really can't stand the quarter experience , wish they would go to cards, it is very time consuming putting so many quarters into a machine time and time again.. come into 2022 please!

I get upset when I have to pay for literally nothing. Apparently there’s “nothing they can do” when you put $5.50 in a machine, realize you’re short, walk to the supermarket, get cash, walk back, and discover the machine has reset itself so you’ll have to start all over again. I paid $5.50 for nothing and was told it was my fault for not counting my quarters ahead of time. So I hope they enjoy their tip.

The staff are the best around very helpful and kind they have a lot of washers and dryers different sizes they offer a lot of service plus they have a tanning salon there and a Mrs Pac-Man original arcade machine
