Footbridge Beach Motel is our favorite place to stay in Maine! This was our third visit, and as always, everything was great! Beautiful flowers on the grounds and in the relaxing pool area, along with clean/comfortable rooms. The owners are very nice and welcoming. We’ll definely be back next year!

My wife, college age son, and myself spent 4 days/ nights in the Beach House of the Footbridge Beach Motel & Cottages. The Beach House was a great place to stay. The House is in great condition, and has everything needed for a nice family vacation. The House had more than enough room to comfortably house myself, my wife and my son for our stay. The Master Bedroom on the 2nd floor was very large and had a separate room off to the back for storage for all of our luggage and belongings. The Master Bathroom was large and brand new and in great condition. The porch off of the Master Bedroom was also a great place to hang out and relax. My son had his own room on the 1st floor with his own King Size Bed and his own bathroom. The House also has a 3rd Bedroom downstairs in the basement with 4 beds, which we did not use since we were only 3 people, and a laundry room, which we did use. The owners of the Motel, Scott and Mark, were very friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. The House has a complete kitchen, which made it easy to purchase groceries and to eat breakfast and lunch in the house. We could have easily eaten dinner there also, but since it was our vacation, we opted to eat out for dinner.
The House is literally a 2 minute walk from the main Motel. So it is easy to get to the Motel Pool, and we were able to go swimming every day. The Footbridge Beach is literally a 5 to 6 minute walk down to the end of the block. The House has a shed which has lots of Beach Chairs, and a little cart in which to easily transport the chairs in down the block to the Beach and back. This allowed us to avoid the $30 daily parking fee in the lot for the Beach. The Footbridge Beach is spectacular. Since we stayed during the first week of June, we also got the benefit of the lower rates for renting the house in the pre peak season period. So the $299 pre- peak season daily rate was very reasonable for this House. But even the higher peak season rates are reasonable given what you are getting.
The House is just about under a mile from the main part of downtown Ogunquit. So it was a very short and easy drive to town. It is even walkable in the high season for guests who wish to walk and avoid the parking difficulties of parking in downtown Ogunquit during the high season. This was not an issue for us since we were there in the first week of June before Ogunquit gets too crowded.
Rooms: The Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and in great condition.
Nearby activities: There are lots of great restaurants and shops of Ogunquit and other attractions all within a short distance of the Motel.
Safety: The Beach House felt like it was in a very safe area.
Walkability: It is easy to walk to the main Motel, and to the Footbridge Beach. Is is also walkable to downtown Ogunquit, although it would be almost a mile walk.
Noteworthy details: The Beach House is a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. It is on a quiet side street just off of Route 1 and just around the corner from the Motel, where the the pool is located.

Great location, clean room, very comfortable beds and friendly owners! Love that we were able to bring our dog! Our room was a little small, but it worked for us because we didn’t spend much time in the room. There’s so much to do in the area. Thank you again for a great stay!

We absolutely love Footbridge! The owners are fantastic, the place is spotless and we always have so much fun. We go back every year (sometimes multiple times a year). We just got home and we’re looking to go back later this year. Just before Halloween is fun - they do an awesome job decorating the place.

This is our fourth year in a row staying at the Footbridge and we will be back next year! Always a fantastic experience… Very clean and well appointed rooms, beautiful pool, cooking and lounging areas! Owners are friendly and attentive! Excellent location with only a five minute walk to the Footbridge beach. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful time we had! I don’t think I have ever seen cleaner rooms in a motel. The owners were awesome! Definitely will be returning and recommending the Footbridge to our family and friends.

Scott and Mark’s Footbridge Beach Motel and Cottage is such a quintessential gem in Ogunquit, Maine! The room was very cozy, spacious and super clean. The location is in walking distance to lots of good restaurants, shops, beach and more! Scott and Mark are so welcoming and accommodating. We had a late arrival and they made it easy for us to check into our room. It was our first time staying here, and we will definitely be back to stay here again! I would highly recommend if your planning a trip to Ogunquit. My wife and I have stayed here twice...both times in Room 10. Fantastic place, great location, friendly service, pet friendly...what else can I say? The Footbridge is maybe a 5 min walk from the beach...surrounded by at least 3 places that are a quick walk for food. No complaints. We can't wait to return. Thank you!

Footbridge Beach Motel is the best place to stay if you plan to stay in the Ogunquit area. My friends and family stayed from September 7th-11th. We rented the entire place and there was not one complaint about anything. Our stay was fantastic. Scott and Marc have always made everything top notch for our stay. We stayed in room #12 at Footbridge Beach Motel for 2 nights in August. I need to preface my comments with this: I am "obsessed" with clean spaces, no bugs (I was worried this being a motel), quiet and good service/amenities. The Footbridge Beach Motel is one, if not the cleanest more serene place I've been at. Kudos to housekeeping, because I checked everywhere, and it was spotless. The room isn't the biggest, but it has everything you need and the bed is super comfortable (making it difficult to want to get up in the morning to do the 10 min. walk to the beach). The beach itself is nice. The owners are respond quickly, clear, and easy to work with. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable stay in in the Ogunquit area.

We stayed in Room 18 on Aug 3-6, 2023. It was a bit of a last minute trip so accommodations were limited due to high season. The room was on the second floor, it was decorated with a costal vibe and had two full size beds, a small fridge/freezer which came in handy.Check in was great and informative. The grounds were beautiful, plants and flowers at every turn. Plenty of cozy places to sit and the pool area looked welcoming, but we opted for the beach. There is a well stocked coffee room that was a welcome addition. We would absolutely stay here again!Since the Footbridge Beach Lot fills up fast, my husband and I loaded up our truck with all our beach gear and cooler and he went down early, paid and parked and walked back (maybe 10 minute) and when we were ready we walked down and had all our belongings ready, right by the walking bridge.
