We had a delightful lunch with a sensational view of the Maine coast at The Blue Bistro - the restaurant located at the Beachmere Inn on Maine's Marginal Way.
It can be a bit tricky to find the Blue Bistro by car - look for the Beachmere Inn signs, the Blue Bistro is located just inside the main entrance. You do not have to be a guest of the Beachmere to enjoy this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
The Blue Bistro features expertly crafted cocktails, local brews, and a well chosen wine selection.
The chowder was amazing, not too thick but very tasty. The lobster roll was pure Maine lobster no filler and among the best we've ever experienced. The BLT was first rate and just what I needed to accompany the bowl of chowder.
Take a friend to the Blue Bistro and make your next Maine lunch or Dinner truly memorable.

Beautiful place to stay. Stunning views, excellent service. The rooms are very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Our family of 6 ate at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was so good there was no reason to eat anywhere else. You have the option to eat inside or out on the terrace (if you go off season there are small fire pits to keep you warm on the deck). Can't think of any cons at the Beachmere. Next year we hope to stay a bit longer. Thank you for your hospitality.

Wedding Review Here! We knew from the start that we wanted to get married on a cliffside in Maine and WOW did the Beachmere deliver!! The scenery is so incredibly stunning that we didn't bother with any other decoration for the ceremony and I do not think a single person noticed. We are absolutely ecstatic with how everything went on the day of the wedding-the current Beachmere event coordinator Rhiannon was absolutely essential, working with our day-of coordinate Jennifer to ensure coordination between the first look, a photo shoot on the marginal way, the ceremony itself, and a champagne toast after the ceremony for our guests!
We had a long engagement, which meant we worked with three different event coordinators throughout the process and we can confidently say Rhiannon was the right choice for the hotel. Despite a rough hand-off, Rhiannon was prepared for our wedding and a key member of our vendor team.
In addition to being our ceremony venue, the Beachmere worked with us to plan a "rehearsal tea" the day before and I want to give a shout-out to the chef for making me arepas!!

I am so upset . I have a service dog and the asked me what the service was. This is against the law and discriminatory. It’s for an insufficiency for sight and they had no right asking. They told me they will not accommodate me.

We had such a great stay here as a family of 3. The room was clean, spacious and we loved having the kitchenette, an oceanview balcony and beautiful grounds to just sit and admire the ocean. Very comfortable beds too. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and both were wonderful - they were also very accomodating to our child's food allergies, which is so appreciated. A short walk to town and right on the beautiful Marginal Way path. Thanks for a great stay!
Rooms: We were in room 118 and it was great!

The place is great from the service, food to the views. Our servers Gerry, and Elizabeth greated you with a smile and were unbeleivable making suggestions and answering all questions. Shawn the GM runs a great Inn
Rooms: Nice balcony or in my case a covered pattio all with views of the ocean
Walkability: 1 minute from Marginal Way with Perkins Cove on one side with the town center on the other could not be better.
Food and drinks: Who would not like to enjoy a cocktail or a desert with an evening sunset.

You probably can’t go wrong staying in most places on the marginal way, but we love the Beachmere. Staff is always friendly, rooms are clean, and drinks on the terrace are always a treat! The Blue Bistro has amazing food as well…and ocean views are a fabulous plus.

Nice clean room with an ocean view. Had the best lobster roll ever in the hotel restaurant. Friendly customer service and within walking distance of the beach. Right next to Marginal Way too. Will stay again.
