Beautiful place in a great location. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Rooms: The older part of the resort was clearly an old motel, but it has been completely redone and it's lovely. These rooms have the best views.
Walkability: Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. It's only a short walk back to the main drag with even more options.

Walkability: Close tow town the Marginal Way goes right through the property
Food and drinks: Excellent food and service. Had dinner and two breakfasts

I had high hopes for a stay at the Anchorage Inn. The location is beautiful but sadly, we found it was overpriced and with poor customer service. Staff were not at all friendly and the check in process was extremely slow. The rooms are extremely dated and worn. The bottles of shampoo and body wash were empty in the shower. The mini fridge made noise constantly and froze everything. We stayed in the Towers. Hopefuly other buildings are more updated. It is not a very child friendly hotel either as advertised nor should it claim to be "a resort."
Rooms: Very old and dated.
Walkability: Easy place to walk around to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful location in Ogunquit with a superb view on the ocean. Rooms were clean even though room service was not offered. Although room service was not offered (even after talking with the cleaning lady) we did get quick service to get extra towels and such.
I would definitely come back!

Repeat visitor. Location is great, rooms are outdated.Extremely expensive, given the other area resorts. Online mentioned in room microwaves, not so. Restaurant menu lacking. When we compare the cost of our recent stay, with another facilty, Anchorage was almost double for the same 2 night stay. Fees included seemed excessive, with no explanation given for what was included in these charges,

Beautiful grounds with great views of ocean and easy access to Marginal Way. Rooms are clean and okay. Had difficulty reaching front desk from room.

Right on the beach. There is a restaurant or it's just a quick walk along the beach to town.
Rooms: The rooms are nice with comfy beds and a place to sit outside the room.
Safety: Solo woman traveler & I felt very safe.
Walkability: A nice stroll along the beach to small village with shops and restaurants.

Had high expectations for this place but was extremely disappointed. Service was not friendly, felt like I was bothering them when I checked in. After check in I never heard from anyone from the hotel again. The room smelt like the inside of a porta potty, towels were all stained, tub was all stained, did not feel clean whatsoever. I did not complain because that is not in my nature. For the price I paid I expected much more in terms of cleanliness and service. The only bright spot from the stay was the service of the bartender at Bar 360. She was outstanding and very friendly and attentive. You can tell the bar and restaurant are extremely understaffed. Overall a huge disappointment.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Anchorage By The Sea! The rooms were cleaned and well-prepared each day. The location is perfect—just steps away from the beach, shops, and numerous restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities, including the Wi-Fi, heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, and fire pits, which made for relaxing evenings.
We highly recommend this location to families looking for a great stay in Ogunquit, Maine.
