“Kennebec Veterinary is a GREAT place to bring your pets for all of their care. The do routine exams, emergency services and surgeries, and genuinely care about the animals they service. We have been with this company for about 12 years, always getting the best care. Our dog became very sick at his end of life, leaving us devastated, but the staff gave 100% of themselves for us and our baby right to the end, scheduling emergency appointments when we needed them. They provided careful and respectful care to us and our furry family members. We couldn't ask for any better. Thank you to all the staff! Highly recommend their services!”

“We have gone here a few times so far with at least two of our cats (we have 8 of them so sometimes details are hard to recall). We first tried calling vets in our own area but they either weren't taking new pets or were scheduling months in advance. So we drive farther to get to Lakeside, but we are satisfied with them. The appointments haven't been too far in the future and we have liked the people we have spoken to so far. They are observing pandemic protocols, which are fine with me. You wait outside and let them know you are there, and someone comes out to talk to you and get your critter. Then an assistant or even the doctor comes out to talk to you. We needed a prescription for insulin for our Sunny Jim, and it was easy to arrange through Chewy.com. I can edit this review at a later date if I need to add details about the quality and cost of care over a longer term, but we are satisfied now and don't expect to be disappointed later. At this point I wouldn't even switch to one of the local vets if they got less busy.”
