I was supposed to begin my drive across country today. Instead I found myself 3 miles from where I was living with a broken down car. Lol’d. I called L and S in tears. He was willing to come down and look at my car but I sensed I could make it to the shop that was just a few miles away. He was so earnest and kind and compassionate about my situation. So grateful. Thank you.

If I could give them 100 stars out of 5, I would. I've been going to Hui, Mitchell, and Boy for about 10 years, after seeing their favorable reviews in Yelp. I recommend these guys to neighbors in my building, AAA service reps, and anybody within in shouting distance.Why? Because they're trustworthy, reliable, quick, and frequently charge well below estimates you find on the i-net. (Google "average cost in the Bay Area" to repair [part]" for a "[year, car model]") Within seconds of meeting them, you realize they're salt-of-the-earth people.Rather than trying ways to make money off you, they'll tell you what needs to be fixed now, and what work can be postponed. For example, when I brought the Volvo to their shop yesterday, Mitchell said that while it's always great to see me, I've brought the car to them too often this year and should consider purchasing a Honda. I'd write more, but I have to go pick up my car now.

I went in today to get a battery replacement after calling ahead so they could get the required part in. Not only was service quick and the final price less than I was quoted over the phone, but they also fixed a quick issue with my driver's door (a dent was causing the door to creak against the frame when opened) without me asking for no extra charge. That was above and beyond and completely made my day. Mike at the front desk also made sure I was aware of recalls on my vehicle that I should reach out to my dealership about. The customer service I received was really personal and incredible and I would absolutely bring my car back to Torchio's again.

They were prompt and very communicative! I wasn't sure what was going on so they did an inspection. Turns out it wasn't anything, but some squeaks, so they oiled me up and sent me on my way. I am really grateful that they didn't "create" a problem, which is always a fear. Great service too, they have scheduled checkins so see how everything is still doing. I feel like I have a mechanic shop I can trust.

Both of my side view mirrors on my Lexus were broken on the streets. I went to the Lexus dealership and they quoted me a ridiculous amount for labor on top of paying for the parts. So I just bought the parts there and came to Torchio's to get them fixed. I was able to get on the phone and get a quote as well as set up an appointment easily. They charged me 1/4th of what Lexus quoted me and got it done in an hour. They were professional and did a great job. The mirrors work great and everything was seamless. Thank you!

I have known Mike, the owner, for over 20 years. During that time I've brought several different make and model cars to him for a total of about a dozen visits. Some were repairs and other times just regular maintenance. Every time his shop did a great job and I was pleasantly surprised with the fair costs of the work. If it was a simple fix, he took care of it for an appropriately simple cost. If it was a bigger fix, he did all he could to provide me with options and minimize the costs without sacrificing a quality job as he doesn't use cheap parts. I was always pleased with the reasonable repair fees. I used to replace my own front disc brakes, carburetor, do oil changes, tires, wiper blades etc back in the 70s and 80s when cars were simpler. I can't and don't need to repair and maintain these more technically sophisticated cars myself anymore and I don't worry about getting ripped off either as I have total trust and confidence in Mike at Torchios. He is the most straight forward, honest and nicest guy so I can only imagine that any less than positive reviews were either misunderstandings, someone in a bad mood, someone who can never be pleased or the rare case he couldn't help. He calls you after evaluating the job to give you an update on the repair needed and costs, to verify that you approve of the expense rather than just doing the work without you knowing how much it's going to be. I know he wants his customers to be satisfied because he is a good guy so I'm certain he will handle all matters with care, grace and fairness. I'm getting ready to call him for my next scheduled maintenance on my newer car.

Had some suspension and transmission with done here on our Highlander. They were super professional, thorough and fast. Great follow up AFTER I left to check on how the car was running. I've never had anyone do that. Absolutely will come back and bring all my business here

We did some research last year and found Torchio's was our best bet in the area to take our Honda Civic to get a new battery - they had overall positive reviews and reasonable prices. When we had to bring our car back a few months later for a battery issue, Mike (Michael B.) was friendly and helpful about it, looked our car up in their system, and popped in another battery in a few minutes without any hassle. Definitely recommend Torchio's and we would rather come back here for future service than the nearby Honda car dealership service department!

Mitchell did a great job on my car... and he only charged me $20!I woke up and turned on my car. It was making funny noises. So I drove straight over to B&H. Within about 120 seconds, my car was on the lift and Mitchell was looking underneath. Apparently someone tried to steal my catalytic converter. They didn't fully take it, they just screwed some stuff up. Mitchell and his colleague did the repair on the spot. I drove out with a spiffy fixed up car. And he only charged me $20! This place is honest, hard-working, and doesn't overcharge. I highly recommend.Also, they have a nice outdoor waiting area. Just bring a book and relax a bit in the shade. These guys will take good care of you.Thanks, B&H. You are the best!

I have not YET used them, but I MUST give them 5 stars. I called earlier to get a quote on an accelerator install (I have the part) and Mike quoted me $146 and said it would take an hour. I called another mechanic right after and got a 2 hour $250.....for the SAME install. I had to go to a mechanic closer to home cuz my battery won't keep a charge, but I WILL in the future! Thanks for your honesty, Mike. You ROCK!!!
