Our local Fare Share Market holds a special place in my heart as not only is it a close-knit community that feels like family, but it also acts as a gathering hub for people from all walks of life in our community. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the diversity of vendors, fresh produce, herbs, spices, teas, along with a broad assortment of bulk dry and refrigerated which creates a unique magnetism that draws people together and fosters a sense of belonging and connection.

I've been here many times . They have a good selection of spices and dry goods. Not a great selection of fruits and vegetables or grab and go cold and hot foods. Not much of a selection of breads . Lots of frozen goods.

Not happy, went to pick up Hawthorne berries. The tag on the shelf said, $1.81 per ounce. I got two ounces. The staff charge me $5.80. We ask why so much and she stated that they are no longer charging by the ounce, but by the pound. She stated it as $29.00 a pound. Well if you divide $29.00 by 16, that is $1.81 an ounce. So much for our education system.

This is a wonderful health food store / co-op in town. It's worth the trip if you are in the surrounding towns, we traveled from Lewiston-Auburn (L-A) and it was 100% worth it.Best thing about our visit, the people. While shopping, the young man made a fresh pot of coffee. The conversations were positive and informative and one could see and hear the passion. We found everything we needed and more.Highly recommend if you get a chance.

Awesome Place! I think the President of the board Micah Quittner is an incredibly driven volunteer who works hard to make the coop fare. They locally source whole foods and make shopping easy and affordable for low income Households!

The very best spices and herbs and you can get just the amount you need. It's a whole different experience than supermarket shopping from friendly, personalized customer service, to having a sense of ownership even if you're not a member. Also you can bring your own containers so we cut down on the use of plastic. And then there's shopping LOCAL! It may take longer at check-out, but totally worth it. OK, so that's my experience before the pandemic. Now we can order online and pick up. There's even a Grocery Fund for those who need help to put food on the table. If you're in the position to be able to help and want to, you can also do that online.
