My husband had ordered oil last Thursday at $4.29 a gallon, when delivered this Monday we were charged $4.59. We both called and the office said we price on day of delivery, this company is absolutely taking advantage of people, they said they tell all their customers that" not the case". I'm sorry but not everyone can budget on prices unknown. Cn brown will not be coming to my door ever again. Horrible customer service!

As an existing client (electric and oil), I called today 1/3/22 to schedule an oil tank fill. I was told if I want my tank filled sooner versus later, call someone else because they are booking for March. I have used CN Brown for the last three years and now the comment is "Sorry we have a driver shortage". How about paying enough so drivers will work for you. Fortunately, I still have a half of a tank and was able to find find another oil company who is delivering oil in two days. Good bye CN Brown and Big Apple. Dead to me!

Called on March 8th asked for them to NOT deliver this month. They confirmed that they would cancel this month’s delivery and said that I called just in time because my delivery was scheduled for tomorrow (March 9th). Came home today(March 19th) to find out that they DID delivery anyway and charged $672.00 to fill the tank. This is NOT the first time that they have done this when asked to cancel a delivery.Of course there is no way to contact anyone on a Saturday. I even tried the “emergency” number just for laughs and of course, no answer or voicemail.

I’ve been a customer with CN Brown out of Windham since 2015. I was charged a fee of $20 due to my most recent delivery being less that 100 gallons. I was able to find verbiage on their website about this policy after the fact. This was the first time that this happened, but they would not waive the fee. It was assumed that because I was a long time customer I would already know about the fee. Not the best way to treat loyal customers. Mainly writing this so others won’t get hit with the same fee. Live and learn, but I wasn’t thinking about switching to another company until now. Hopefully someone notices this post and makes it right.Update: Thank you for the response. The email you provided did not work.

Called to schedule an oil delivery, was told they have a “driver shortage” and can’t schedule anyone. I said that we don’t have an urgent need, but just wanted to eventually get on their schedule… and they still turned me away. Customer of more than 4 years, guess not anymore.

Very small office in Windham, must only have two trucks tops. The wait in the winter is anywhere from ten days to twenty. The office staff is as polite as necessary, but often not as helpful as they could be.They do not offer any type of burner service , you have to use another company, they are strictly delivery.(The guys I was referred to had a ten week wait to clean my furnace, And charged me $450 ) I went to the office to pay for a scheduled delivery, I was told I was not allowed to prebuy as the price could change, but thay would take a card #. I called two weeks later to ask them not to bill the card I would pay cash, she says I have to come in and pay prior to the delivery. ? yeah , I went there to do that and was told I couldn’t. Is selling oil to residential customers really that complicated? If you can find better, do so. I’m going to start shopping around myself.
