“We’re summer residents of Jefferson on Damariscotta Lake. JM&GS is a great community resource; it makes our community better.

Food is excellent from breakfast sandwiches to huge subs/grinders/sandwiches to a great beer section including g the hard to get Molson Golden Ale!

Owners are great, service is excellent and friendly!”

“Been visiting King Ro every summer for over 30 years, and this year is no exception. Much to my suprise, new owners have completely updated the neighborhood market into a full watering hole complete with a great selection of bar foods, craft beers and full bar. The locals are friendly and usually willing to engage in a conversation on their viewpoints covering most topics you might find of interest.

If you've never gone...go! If you've not been there in some time, go back! You will not be disappointed,”

“I stop in here 3 days a week on my way to work to buy two jugs of water, a coffee and a questionable breakfast sandwich. Usually around 15 bucks. I don't expect much from a gas station. They make sandwiches and pizza to order. Unless it's 9:03am in which case they can longer make an Egg Sandwich because they "are done with breakfast." The older woman making the sandwiches said it was fine and gave me a look like, "Of course I can make you an Egg Sandwich." But the younger woman was having none of that. Since my only other option at that time was Mozzarella sticks and some Pizza with no less than 4 meats on it, I left and I won't be back. I walked out and a guy that over heard the conversation said. "Hey Bub, that was weird... I woulda made ya the Egg Sandwich."Lets see. 15 bucks, three days a week. Over a year... That's over $2000. That was one costly egg sandwich. I hear the owner Ryan is a good guy so I'm still giving 5 stars. :-)”

“Stopped here on our travels to stretch our legs, honestly had no intention of getting food but my parents were hungry so we all decided to grab something.WOW! I ordered a fried haddock sandwich and it was AMAZING! There was so much fish on it (I actually pulled off some of the overhanging pieces to try it before taking a pic). Not only was the food great, but it was super clean inside and the people there were really friendly!Definitely a must stop when we are back up there!!”

“In general we always have a positive experience here. A local stop utilized multiple times weekly.
More specifically our weekly pizza order always perfectly cooked by Claire makes me thankful for people who care.
I would also add cashier Maria always tends to my many requests with patience and superb customer service.”

“This is NOT a 1 star review, so this pharmacy gets an unwarranted star because ZERO stars is not an option. Closing time is 7 PM and I when I enter the store I immediately notice the pharmacy cage is down 15 minutes before closing. I see the pharmacist upon walking up to the register and she half looks up from her work station. I wait patiently for several minutes until a tech greets me and despite my prescription in the process of being filled, I am told they close in 7 minutes. Long pause. I have to say, so then what you’re not saying is I’ll have to come back tomorrow. And the young girl says YES! with a big smile. I assure you, it takes less than 2 minutes to fill my prescription, but I’ll sadly have to return in the morning. I hope this store gets it act together because this is the worst experience a patient could experience. Everything in Maine is 45 minutes away. So I’ve wasted my time and money just to do it again. Save yourself the agony and find another pharmacy with employees who are willing to help the customer. 2 other Walgreens in the Midcoast are always willing to fill the script right up until closing, and both will even stay open a bit longer for their customers.”
