Just brought a new bronco. Colby was great to deal with, but they have to step it. I feel like the sales manager should introduce himself. Maybe a updated drink and snacks lounge and definitely needs a more upbeat vibe. Not saying it is but just the vibe of being run down and dead inside could turn customers away.

Awful. Took our ford escape there for second opinion, first place that looked at it said it was surely transmission and it took them 15 min to find out . Varney ford looked at it 5 HOURS AND CHANGED US 500 dollars to tell us that it is transmission! Ridiculous , we were devastated to pay that much , thanks for nothing, will never ever get back there .

Just left from buying a new to us truck. Colby was great to work with. He met and exceeded our expectations. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Great experience going to Varney Ford. I had purchased a couple of Ford vehicles from my local dealer, that left a sour taste in my mouth. Not the case with Varney Ford.

Too many trips to get issue resolved and I don't believe all the repair techs are proficient in their "specialty". I don't know if my issue will be resolved - I have yet another appointment.

I'm not officially in the geographic area for this dealership but will not go elsewhere. I am very pleased with the smaller dealership and connecting with the team at Varney Ford on a more personal, get to know you basis. I have experience with both the sales and service side and feel like they have gone above and beyond.

I took my car to Varney Ford at 237 Moosehead Trail, Newport Me. When I called to make the appointment, I told the guy that white smote was coming into the car and the defroster wasn't working. When I made the appointment, I was told someone would drive me home because the guy said it would take a long time to fix the car and someone would come and pick me up later that day. When I arrived at Varney Ford, I was waiting in the waiting room and the guy came in and said that the Head Gasket needed to be replaced. This woman drove me home. I called later that day and was told no one was available to pick me up. I asked what was wrong with the car and how much would it cost to fix it and the guy said he didn't know. Varney Ford kept my car all night. When I called the next day around 9:00 a.m., I was told no one could come and pick me and and he didn't know when anyone would be available to pick me up. I called a taxi which was in Dexter, Me and the taxi driver told me it would cost me $25 cash for him to drive me from my home to Varney Ford which was not far from where I lived less than 5 miles. The taxi dropped me off at Varney Ford and the Service Manager was sitting there. The guy at the counter didn't want to give me the car and as yet never told me what was wrong with the car or how much would it cost. The guy at the counter told the service manager that he didn't know how to do the invoice and didn't know how to print out the invoice. Finally the service manager printed out the invoice. The invoice said car was dropped off January 12, 2023 and had a date at the top of January 13, 2023, which is when I picked up the car. The invoice said it took 1 and 1/2 hours to fix the car so it was not necessary for me to go home and for them to keep the car overnight. The invoice said the breaks were replaced in the front, I didn't need new breaks and the breaks are worse now than when I took the car in. The blower for heater was replaced which was probably correct. And the wheel still pulls to the right when the car is driven. This cost me $850 which I think all I needed was a blower. The defroster was not fixed and the guy said that would cost me another $800 or so to get it fixed. When I went out to the car, the car had been unlocked all night and the emergency break was not on. The service manager said the car would not roll because it was in first gear, which is a lie. I don't know if more damage was done to my car since I took it to Varney Ford because the breaks are worse and the car pulls to the right and the defroster does not work, when I turn it on it makes a loud noise.

My experience with the service at Varney Ford has been nothing short of very bad. First time, shame on them, all the other times, shame on me for going back. Do yourself a favor and go to Darlings in Bangor. They are awesome!!
